As soon as I saw the color I knew this was the gameboy one. Super cool to find! Has the cord still plugged in, no game but can’t complain!

Funnily enough I found a boxed NES miracle piano at this same goodwill last month.

This thing has been in a closet for years and years and every once in a while I’ll try and fix a game with it and it comes out worse than when I started. I found family guy really cheap at a thrift but it’s scratched to hell so I said screw it and I spinned it keeping it wet with a Clorox wipe for 5 solid minutes I probably made 10 revolutions because it had deep gouges. The game works now, it wouldn’t even boot before. I guess I’ve been doing it wrong all these years.

Collecting for a lot of consoles but manly going for the full nes library. Btw Dragon Warrior 3 is in my top loader lol.

So I've been slowly picking up ps3 games every day before going into work. Just doing this through the whole month of August. Happy with how many I ended up finding.

I finally sat down and cleaned up this PS3 haul. Stickers off, Goo Gone + 99% rubbing alcohol for the leftover residue, then into OPP sleeves. A lot of these have been on my “want to play” list for years. Happy they’re all looking decent now.

I love the artwork on the spines. I prefer a smaller, curated game collection, and I have to limit myself or I tend to go crazy. I decided to focus on first party Nintendo games. I still need a few games like Splatoon Raiders and Mario Kart World. If it’s a GKC like Pokopia I will just buy it digitally. I also buy some third party games, but only digital and only when they go on sale. I’m really impressed with the variety of gameplay styles in the first party Switch 2 library and I’m impressed how many IPs are already represented on the system (especially if you count S2 Editions). It felt like it took a long time for the S1 to have representation from most of Nintendo’s franchises. Speaking of S2 Editions, I am on the fence whether or not to start collecting them. I already own most of them digitally but the upgrade packs require lots of storage and I’ve been debating repurchasing my S1 collection physically. Collecting S2 Editions would be a nice middle ground, but still very expensive, and I sort of like the more focussed criteria of collecting S2 exclusives.

I’m honestly shocked by the generosity of others, my uncle gifted me all these titles plus a ps3 with 4 controllers! My lucky streak continues as I am also picking up Spyro Collectors Edition as well as some loose copies of Spiderman and Spiderman 2: Enter Electro all for PS1 with a trade for a jacket I have.

My brother won a Twitter giveaway from Capcom USA for a copy of Pragmata signed by David Menkin (Hugh's VA) and since he knew how much I adored it, he gave it to me. There's also a pretty cool pin it came with. Genuinely blown away to have this and a huge thank you to Capcom for the giveaway!

Sorry for how messy the room is but my girlfriend has moved in and we are moving stuff around so it is a but messy and this is not my entire collection. The chucky doll is hers. Ive definitely added more games to my "special" shelves and I've added more games in general. I love being able to collect childhood favorites again and just collecting in general. Im thinking of starting to get the silent hill games but unsure of which console to collect them for. Anyone have any suggestions of which games to get next?

A smaller month for me but September has so many tempting releases that are going to be hard to resist! I have Fire Emblem preordered so that should keep me pretty busy for the rest of the year probably. Out of this stack I recommend Mouse: P.I. for sure. It isn’t a flawless game by any means but it runs well and has plenty of content, especially considering it was made by such a small dev team.

Most likely, if you find it, it will be in Spanish, Italian, or German. However, finding the English version in Black Label and sealed condition is almost impossible.

I know, I know. Incredibly rare game to have in one's own collection. One day you too can be as fortunate as me to own such an exquisite piece of gaming history.

Back at the beginning of August, rockit games said they got more Croc for Switch and PS5 in stock. I put an order in for both, and it has yet to even ship. Has anyone ordered from these guys before? Is this normal?

I was looking through my old collection of games I had a found this treasure. i went to put it into the Xbox and it wont work like the Xbox wasn’t spinning the disk or doing anything. it’s only this disk all the other xbox one disk work just not this one. I thought it was the color at first but from what I remember and can see it’s supposed to be golden being the one ring from the lotr and hobbit. there’s only three spots on the disk that I can see as problematic. the first one on the middle of the disk was some random dead fruit fly that I have genetically no idea how it got into the disk. the second and third are two spots on the edge of the disk that look like rot but I’m not really for sure if it is or not. are these spots so bad that it can’t run? am I able to fix it or am I running them wrong? i thought I was doing it properly but I really dont know what I’m doing. any help or advice will be gladly taken.
