Been trying to find some new stuff to play outside of just scrolling Steam forever lol.

I know Kongregate, CrazyGames and Go Get Games for browser/online games and random stuff, but what else do you guys use?

Mostly looking for places to discover games or find decent discounts. Doesn’t have to be some huge site either, smaller ones are cool.

What am I missing?

I was thinking about unemployment, as I'm sure a lot of us are in this age, and about advice people who have obtained gainful employment say about it. I imagined a conversation between a retired boomer and an unemployed millennial, something I would say is probably a cannon event for most.

Retiree: "Well I just don't understand how you don't have a job yet. Have you tried going in and giving them a firm handshake? That's how I got my job at the Big box store my uncle recommended me."

I'm watching a video currently that's ranking a lot of 2D Mario stages, and every now and then it shows stages from Super Mario All-stars, I'm wondering if it's worth it to get the Wii version over the SNES version due to my couch being too far from the TV for normal wired controllers to play the original SNES version, so the Wii version might be better in that regard for me for the Classic Controller plugging into the Wiimote, however I do hear that some people say the SNES version is still the better pick so I'm wondering which version I should get, as I do have a way to play both versions, being 3 Wiis (overbearing I know lmao) and a Wii U for the Wii version, and the Retron 5 for the SNES version

I do know that there's also the version of All-stars with Mario World, but that's not one I need as I already have a cartridge of Mario World so it would feel a bit redundant

I don't know if it has any affect for anything here but I'm in Canada, so this is more regarding NTSC, however I do have a Wii with the region lock removed and the Retron isn't region locked so if I did find a PAL or other region version it would still work

I wanted my PC to behave more like a console: press the controller’s power button, let it connect, and automatically open my game launcher.

Windows Task Scheduler and Bluetooth event triggers weren’t reliable, so I built Controller Launcher, a small open-source Windows utility.

• 8BitDo Ultimate 2C using the 2.4 GHz receiver

I mean games where you have some kind of mobile vehicle or base that feels like “home,” It can be a car, train or even submarine, and you travel through the game world freely or as part of the story.

A lot of games give me this feeling, for example Keep Driving, Metro Exodus, Last Train Home, Zompiercer, Barotrauma, Pacific Drive and others.

It is not just about driving or traveling, and it don't have to be a survival game. It is more about having a moving shelter, a small home, or a crew space that goes with you while the world outside keeps changing.

Is there a specific genre or term for this kind of game?

Does anyone else feel fascinated by this feeling?

What's up people i'm new to reddit ok this might be a little vent for yall and i needed advice, i once meet a person while playing battlefield 4 on ps4 back in 2014 we added each other then we played every single day during high school then in 2016 we got into rainbow 6 seige then in 2020 he completely disappeared the only contact was his ps4 psn account since then i kept my account logged on into my phone hoping 1 day hes gonna get back. Well he did mid 2025 then he blocked me over a stupid thing and it's funny lol he he's an arab and he got an English nickname he didn't want his relative to know and i accidentally did call him after that he blocked me on fb and psn even his FaceTime is that an issue or he just doesn't wanna be friends anymore he even told me that he didn't want me to be in voice chat with his relative which is sucks losing a friend from 2014 cuz over stupid thing
