POP GOES THE WORLD! Time has run out for the stalwart champions of New York City and St. Canard, as Demona unleashes the diabolical Paddywhack from his jack-in-the-box confinement and directs him to destroy all of humanity — and all of duckdom as well, just for good measure! Can Goliath and Darkwing hold Paddywhack at bay long enough for reinforcements to arrive in the form of Gosalyn, Launchpad, Morgana, and the rest of Manhattan Clan? And even if they do, will all of their combined strength be enough to overcome Demona’s Quackronomicon-enhanced chaos?
Find out in the explosive finale that is Gargoyles/Darkwing Duck #4 — energetically encoded by creative companions GREG WEISMAN, TAD STONES, and CIRO CANGIALOSI, with properly portentous covers provided by STONES, CANGIALOSI, CARLO LAURO, and IVAN BIGARELLA!

I know there was one called The Dark Ages that's apparently a prequel, and a main run. But then I also saw there was a christmas special one with Bronx on the page? That got me curious.
Just want to start so I can catch up because I want to discuss them here too

All of them where from Scotland you think the accent would carry from one generation to another. Or did the actors had a hard time with a Scottish accent.

I know adding new characters to the main cast can feel a bit controversial, but the clan’s got to get new members some time in the near future, or else their gene pool will be way too low for any more new generations.
While Staghart the British deer-esque gargoyle will very likely join since he’s Lexington’s boyfriend, it would be rather odd to see only him be the newest addition to the family. A brand new main character could work as long as they’re written well, just like how Ahsoka from Star Wars became one of their most iconic characters despite a rocky start with the fans.
Anyone want to brainstorm ideas? Like maybe they could be a young one who’s uncomfortable with the strict beliefs of their birth clan and decides to join our main cast since they stand for accepting change.

Brooklyn: The Guitar
Recognizable and comes with plenty of connotations. Usually the most wild and intense of any instrument there is out there. It's intense, takes the lead in every song there is, and is almost always the center of attention. But while seen by others as nothing but intense and aggresive - just as a guitar can be electric, it can also be acoustic. It can be played so softly and gently while in the hands of master. There's a whole different side of the guitar if you take the time to learn it. All the passion is still there, but it is done slowly, gently, and so lovingly.
Lexington: The Piano.
The easiest instrument to learn, yet infamous for being THE hardest one to master. Pianists must have hand independence, able to juggle incredibly complex and new stanzas in real time - requiring a keen and sharp mind. A pianist adapts to changes and new things better than any other musician, often known for improvising on the spot. Pianists work just as well solo as the do in background accompaniments. Practically every soloist wants a pianist backing them up. Very few can become a true master pianist - but those who can are invaluable as backup just as much as they are an incredible soloist.
Broadway: The Drums.
Often the most overlooked and underappreciated instrument in any band. While the singers, guitar and bassist are out in front. The drummer is always in the background and overshadowed by the others. However, the drums are the one thing holding the whole band together. They are unmoving, keeping the tempo, maintaining the beat no matter what mistakes the others make - when the others screw up or get lost, they look to the drummer as their rock to get them back in step.

Article is from the January 15, 1996 issue of Broadcasting & Cable. Scan is from www.worldradiohistory.com
The framing for the article is that overall ratings for syndicated children's shows had dropped dramatically over the previous year (down 36% for weekly shows and 26% for daily). Foreshadowing the meteor that wiped out everyone, there's a short, single sentence paragraph mentioning cable networks like Nickelodeon.
Gargoyles is mentioned on the second page as being the second highest rated daily syndicated children's show. #2 with some caveats! The other top five were 1) Aladdin 3) VR Troopers [There's also a mention of Gargoyles and VR Troopers being tied for first in the boys 6-11 demo.] 4) Bonkers 5) Goof Troop and Mighty Max tied.

Please help me unlock a memory fragment. It’s a scene from a cartoon I saw when I was a kid. It would have been the early to mid 90s. I’m not even sure it was from Gargoyles but its art style looks similar to my memory.
I dont remember much. In the scene there is a group of friends/adventurers/whatever. One of them is a large monster of some kind. They have access to some sort of prophecy wall with carvings in it that foretell the future. One of the panels is kept hidden behind a small curtain. When the curtain is pulled away, it is revealed that the monster-like friend is to be eaten by a beast. That’s why it’s covered with the curtain.
Any ideas or leads would be so appreciated. Thank you!

So.. We all know that Gargoyles have a biological clock that hardens them up during the day. Is it possible (in a fanfiction scenario) a magical pendant that disabled their biological clock so they stayed gargoyles during the day and hardened during the night and vice versa?

that is my Question
we know Demona went though a lot between when her & Goliath went there separate ways to were they are in the present day
so with that in mind do you think the Demona miniseries should have touched more of her past
personally I would have liked an Epilogue set in present day set after that fight with Manhattan Clan in Free Comic Book Day prologue(or Epilogue?)
or something like that
but thats me what do you think?

With nearly 3 years since it was announced in development and no updates or the fact they entered production made cancellation sound inevitable. While I understand many are happy because they figured it wouldn't have lived up to expectations unless they balanced CGI with practical effects. It is kinda disappointing because it would've given us new Gargoyles content on tv again for the first time in decades even if it wasn't Avatar it would've helped the franchise significantly. I'm not even sure if this guarantees the rumor is true about an animated revival, which is definitely what this franchise needs, but it may be a curse more than a blessing in disguise.

I've been wanting new stuff to read, but there hasn't been any new Gargoyles fanfics in months. What happened to all the stories? I know its a small, old fandom, but there's usually a decent stream of one or two new stories each month - I haven't seen anything new all summer. Any place other than AO3 of fanfiction.net I should look?

For those that dont know, President Curtis (played by Keith David) hunts down and protects America from many supernatural threats such as wendigos and the loch ness monster.
Funny to think he'd probably go after goliath and the gargoyles but wed get keith david fighting himself!
