Statistics Everest - BBC reboot Gladiator performance Score

This scoring model evaluates match outcome, event progression (the tilt), and relative strength disparity.

The Formula

Base Result + Tilt Bonus + Strength Parity Ratio + Speed Bonus

1. Base Result & Tilt Bonus

Pre-Tilt Victory: 15 Points
Post-Tilt Victory: 13 Points
Loss: 0 Points

2. Strength Parity

Added to ensure massive Gladiators aren't over-rewarded for expected blowout wins against much smaller/weaker opponents.

  • Leg Strength Parity:

Contender Squat ÷ Gladiator Squat

  • Weight Proxy Multiplier: When squat specs are missing, body weight ratio is discounted to estimate true relative leg drive

Contender Weight ÷ Gladiator Weight x 0.75

  • Neutral Baseline: 0.60 pts (used when contender data is unavailable)

3. Time Efficiency Bonus

To reward explosive finish speed, winning faster than a 30-second benchmark grants bonus points:

(30 - Game Time) ÷ 20

Score and game time are averages of the number of games played.

Thoughts:-

  • Steel with the blowout 10.3s win!
  • Hammer is underrated in this event. He, along with Sabre and Giant survived the tilt.
  • Will miss seeing Cyclone on this event.

Here are the scores for some of the other events if you're interested. Atlaspheres, Duel, Collision, Edge, Gauntlet, Hang Tough, Powerball, Unleash, Wall.

Stats on 1v1 event counts and interview airtime are also available.
