Which meal delivery service is best for people with dietary restrictions?

**Looking for Canadian meal-prep/meal-kit recommendations that accommodate dairy allergies**
Hey everyone! I’ve been struggling for quite some time trying to figure out what to do for meals, so I’m hoping someone here might have some recommendations.
I’m 29M and, honestly, I’m pretty terrible at cooking and don’t really enjoy it. My partner has also gotten pretty fed up with spending essentially an entire day every week meal prepping and trying to make food that works around my allergies.
I wanted to help out by taking over the meal-prepping/cooking myself, but finding a meal-kit service where I can actually eat the majority of the meals has been surprisingly difficult.
We tried HelloFresh, but there were usually only 1–2 meals per week that I could eat. I just signed up for Chefs Plate and unfortunately, it seems like dairy/milk is included in almost every recipe, so that doesn’t really work for me either.
I’m located in Canada, so I know there are some options I’ve seen recommended online that are US-only.
My biggest issue is **dairy**. I can usually pick around some of the other ingredients if they’re things like raw vegetables, but dairy is often incorporated directly into the recipe, which makes it much harder to avoid.
My allergies/restrictions are:
Carrots
Banana
Raw celery
Hazelnuts
Apple skins
Cucumbers
Cantaloupe
Almonds
**Dairy**
Does anyone in Canada have recommendations for meal-kit services, meal-prep services, or even another solution I should look into?
I’m really just trying to find something that makes meal prep easier for both of us, while still allowing me to actually eat the food. 😅
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for people with food-combining diet

Hi, I’m new to Reddit and looking to connect with people who eat in a similar way.
I eat vegan and gluten-free and also follow some food-combining principles that work well for me personally.

For example:
I usually eat fruit, nuts, seeds separately and do not combine it with vegetables, grains, or savoury foods
I avoid refined sugar. If I use something sweet, it is usually fruit or coconut blossom sugar
I generally do not use fruit-based sauces or dressings with vegetables, such as lemon–tahini dressing
I try to keep processed foods to a minimum

I’d mainly like to know whether anyone here follows something similar, what you call this approach, and whether there are communities, books, creators, or search terms that have been helpful to you.

I know food-combining is not a standard evidence-based nutrition framework; I’m only asking about personal experience and like-minded people. Thanks!

What’s your goto (just add water) waffle/pancake mix?

I’m looking to make a mix at home so I can stop buying the store bought. It’s too darn expensive. I’m still really new to both vegan & gluten free, so the hill is a bit steeper.

Vegan gluten free orange and cinnamon rolls, and pesto and cheese tear and share bread

Originally the tear and share bread was also supposed to be rolls, but turns out tangzhong and gluten free shaped breads do not go together 😅 The cinnamon rolls have orange zest in the dough and an orange simple syrup glaze. The savoury ones also have tzatziki spices in the dough and mixed into a (vegan) compound butter that I added straight out of the oven. Didn't use a recipe for either of them, probably should have done 😂

Hello , so i have a big CEO visiting my branch soon and id like to offer some food in the way of a classic sandwich board you'd get at parties or other good simple food for them to snack on while here .

All and any ideas are welcome but I feel simple is my key here as I may not have access to anything a bit more off the track though im vegan myself so should be able to source most

Instant Noodles

Hi there, looking for a gluten free alt to instant noodles (like the bachelors super noodles chicken flavour) for gfv. I’m in the UK so either needs to be online or England shop, I’ve looked and can’t find but really miss this as a quick meal.
Thanks in advance.
Ps if I can get it off Amazon UK I’m ok with that.

GF + Vegan eggplant parm

This came out really good! I used violife shredded parm and GF panko breadcrumbs + a cornstarch slurry to bread them. Also added hemp seeds and ground pumpkin seeds to the breading for protein!

Hi! Wondering if there are other gf people out there allergic to chicken eggs. If so, what are your go to places to eat or goodies you can find at the store? It's really hard when we travel because I have to find gf/vegan places although I do eat some meat. Breakfast is definitely the hardest.

Good cold lunches for work

Hello! I'm going to start working somewhere with no fridge or microwave soon and I'm looking for some simple GF V recipes I can pack in my lunchbox with an ice pack. Of course there is salad and almond butter/strawberry jam sandwiches but I'd like something a little more exciting! I love tofu and I'm chronically ill so the easier the better :-) thanks so much!

Chicago Trip - recommendations?

Going on a kid-free vacation with my husband to Chicago real soon! Getting really excited and doing my usual research ahead of time for places to eat at.

Wondering what recommendations for vegan/gf eats and treats y'all have?

We'll be staying right in downtown Chicago near the magnificent mile 😊
