Not a long post but here goes, My father bought me Thief when on the way back cross country after i suffered a Chemical imbalance of the Brain. we stopped overnight at a driver reviver stop and i got to setup my PC, well my father passed away last year due to compications with kidney cancer..Just wanted to say thanks to the GOG group for giving me the chance to relive Thief again on modern hardware..Thanks GOG..

I have Linux Mint, so Proton or Bottle probably won't work for me in some games, but they're working on future Linux compatibility for the launcher. My games will always be mine, and my old games will be adapted so they can be played. So goodbye Steam, goodbye Epic, it's time for a change.

Hello, Sabotage Studio team and fellow GOG players. I noticed that the GOG version of The Messenger still lacks achievement support through GOG Galaxy, while the Steam and console versions have them fully implemented. Many players in the GOG community love hunting achievements and would appreciate it if the GOG version received a small patch to include this feature. Is there any chance we can get an update for this?

wanted to play empire of the ants 2000 and the first mission ran very good, but then it suddenly crashed. since this crash the game doesn´t run more than 3-5min or crashes instantly while trying to save.

I tried different settings and ran it with the compatibility mode. reinstall. nothing helps.

does anyone of you know a fix?

Not sure what's changed but now I am getting these errors on every item when I do update on gogrepoc.

Is this is known issue? Is there a better place to ask questions about gogrepoc? Any sort of help would be amazing. I am using Python 3.14.

So basically my email address for my account is no longer accessible I cant change it cause 2fa sends the code to my email. Its only a matter ot time before I cant even log in because of that.

I need to change my email through support....but all support emails will go to the dead email address as well.

Recently i got myself a steam deck and a couple of days ago i decided to buy splinter cell out of the box i had read it had controller support added however when i played it the was none lucky i found out about the enhanced sc patch which also fixes the aspect ratio for certain things and added working controls which is something i would have thought the preservation team would have added.

Anyway enough of the ramble my question was the controller support there but it didn't work becuase it was being translated to linux and is this the case with all preservation program games or is this a one off as i would like to get more games like pop sands of time.

It saves "corrupted" / failed to save screenshots. I tried few things like enable beta features, did not help. Does screenshots work on GOG galaxy? I don't want to use the old Windows way if possible (it interupts the game and sometimes the game doesn't like it). Anyone know how to fix this?

Playhook is a background app that turns a removable drive into a console-style game cartridge. It lives in the tray, detects when you insert a card carrying a game (a game.json manifest), and pops up a game card. Press A on an Xbox gamepad (or click Play) and it syncs your saves onto the PC, launches the game, tracks the playtime, then copies the saves back to the card when you quit — so your progress travels with the card across machines.
