App Issue

I'm new to GH. I was on a wait list for THREE YEARS! Yes. You read that correctly. Anyway, I had an unusually long wait at Metro Diner today and attempted to tap the option explaining the delay. I kept pressing the option explaining the restaurant delay and nothing happened. The little circle to the left of the option would just blink and stay empty. Not sure if this is a glitch? I wasn't marked late for the delivery (which was late by 20 minutes because of the restaurant). Is anyone else having this issue?

I wonder if your app is different than mine cause I’m in California been a driver for 8 yrs now and seen so many changes with the app and Ive seen so many screen shots from other drivers in different states
and it is totally different. At the bottom of my screen when already pushed arrived it shows the customers order and very bottom of screen in small print has “There’s a problem”. Once you push on that it takes you to a different screen giving you options of the delay. If you don’t have that I suggest calling customer support because eventually if you keep running late, you will get a violation and if you get three violations in a matter of 90 days, they will deactivate you on your third violation. Many drivers have posted on here they were deactivated for that and some have 2 as of now and are not driving for GH until the first one falls off which takes 90 days from that date.

Mine is the same there is a problem, but if you have two orders you can press this until the cows come home and they will still mark you late on second pick up or send you text while waiting at first restaurant that you already informed them it isn’t ready for another 20 minutes they will send texts saying you accepted an order but haven’t moved! No shit I’m still at the first restaurant ya know the one I just informed you wasn’t ready! I ignore all the ratings and bullshit because that’s exactly what it is!

It has something to do with the new update for their in app navigation. Ive been having nothing but issues since it updated the other week with it. Like the same not being able to click the bubbles to explain why the long wait, and then when I hit accept offer it sometimes wont do anything, or when I hit arrived I have to do it 5 or 6 times. Driver support said to just go back to using Google maps or waze and it should do away witb those issues. Idk ill be trying it tomorrow
