Could anyone else please share your experience, or if I'm doing something wrong? It's super annoying trying to even get the game to work, I have to constantly delete my certificates in the credential manager for the multiplayer playlist to show up lol

A couple weeks ago I got my old Xbox One plugged in again and decided to play Halo 5 again after maybe eight years since beating it and never touching it again.

Overall, it was not a bad experience. It surely doesn't match the level of the other Halo games in the series, it still remains on the bottom of my rankings, but the game itself is not that bad, or at least not as bad as the community pictures it.

The campaign and the overall story could have been made better, maybe with more memorable levels and better writing, but from a gameplay prespective I think it was an improvement over Halo 4 and it added a nice twist with the more fast-paced gameplay, introduced in the previous games.

If I had to give it a rating after playing it again for the first time in a really long time, I'd give it a 7/10, and honestly it was a shame considering all the wasted potential this game had, maybe it could've been used better if it was handed to a better studio than 343.

title says it all ID if you some how dont know has made doom 1-TDA and imo have been doing a great job and in a hypothetical reality microsoft gives them a chance at the halo IP how would yall feel like if this where to happen? I dont want him to die because I feel like he has been advertised as dead too many times in ads for games like halo 3 and halo 5. I want him to just finish the fight and pass the torch of the main character to someone else. Also, I dont want that new MC to be the next permanent MC. Make a trilogy and then pass it to someone else, dont drag the character along like 343 did with Master Chief.

and honestly my favorite personal pick would be Jerome. Instead of a cool man of view words like master chief, he is more of a flawed boy scout. he's a spartan 2 (just like chief) but he's still young (spoiler) because between HW and HW2 the ship Jerome was on was drifting through space for like 50 years while mostly everybody on board was in cryosleep. Also, due to never seeing his face its easier for the player to imagine themselves as Jerome just like they used to do with Master Chief.

I swear to the flood that I had my Xbox and Infinite set up so that I could hear the multiplayer chat out of my speakers while using the mic from my earbuds plugged into the controller without the game sounds being picked up from the mic. I haven't played in awhile and just took it back up, but it's not set up right.

I can:

1) hear the game through the earbuds and use the mic fine;

or

2) hear the game through the speakers, but then they can hear me through the mic.

I've tried every setting I can find to try to make this work. Am I crazy? Was it not working before?

so,as you never heard what Combat Instinct is,Combat Instinct is a Trilogy First-Person Shooter Flash Games That Came Out Around 2 Years Ago from 2000-2002,but also a click to click and an early sci-fi or a space combat/warfare flash games that was likely as first as earlier before,but however,for Combat Instinct 3,there was a model right after at the start of an newly development in 2001 (as 25 years ago as of 2026) and just 1 year before the release of the last game from part of a series,and it is also part that its far more months away that right after the Halo Combat Evopved Came out on 11/15/2001,same as what the OG XBOX Console did came out then…and yes,this game was way from the development before XBOX and HALO and before its 2002 release,and the game was also made by this user who led his creation of his famous forgotten independent website from 2001 goes by the name of "McFretN" and yes thats his actual creator's bame that was seen on Newgrounds,but still it is totally forgotten from me and for at least…to everyones else,anyways,let me start and clarify this out…

So,one of the character models were all the armies here that had a blue-looking colored form that are so-called "Elite Warmasters" and it can be seen in C.I 3,However,the model for the armies or the warmasters is very bit differently odd,similar and way defenitive to me,its kinda like an actual Master Chief from HALO But early as blue for the color's replacement,but the only actual dofferences is that the helmets for the head looked exactly like an actual one (we) seen from HALO,the glass from like an actual vision goggle like an astrounant helmet were replaced the color from orange to cyan,rather than any other of those ordinary colors,even the helmet i said about it were also blue as well too,so that coukd be the only optional,their units for their outfit gears uniforms were all in black,blue,white,and few of etc…it was way looked familiar like HALO at anytime,also one things to say,their space weapons had a replacement like defenitive look,but also a replacement seen in one flash game (yes like i meant a bonus),and no,its not about an iconic types of weapons from HALO,but rather in combat instinct,some had shotgun,a minogun with launcher on its back,and etc…

and so on for the outcomes results,it is crazy to me that i actually never tried that before for those games itself,even belongs to in which were the results is their stuffs makes me kinda looks,but as likely as some sort of reminds me as you know,Combat Instinct Trilogy is the "son of HALO", while HALO Series is also "a father of C.I/Combat Instinct" they shared their differences because of its gears itself of depending for how they looks to me,for me,i never actually tried HALO Games in my life since then,even as well the Combat Instinct too,and so i hooe this results will outcome but as far…

It has taken me 40 hours since the early access came out with preorders and I did this to solidify I'll be a halo fan forever. I've been one since 6/6/2025 and I'll forever be one.

I was playing TnR on Heroic with some skulls on, and I got to the part before the grav lift where you usually grab an active camo and run past everyone. Why the hell can they still shoot at me as if I never had took the camo in the first place? (Before you ask, I waited a good 5 seconds to give the camo time to activate, since in CE it does that "fade" where enemies are still able to see you)

I’ve watched this countless times and this is my only conclusion.

I have no idea how I did this, this was on Legendary mode and after 40+ attempts of getting my butt kicked.

I think that whatever team did the cutscenes/animations worked separately from the voice lines. I think they did them first and then the voice lines were recorded later. I think that's why there's times where the dialogue is done and then the character just continues to stand there awkwardly, because they rendered 30 seconds of cutscene with 27 seconds of dialogue. Whereas in animation, you make a scratch track FIRST and solidify that, then to build animation to block with the vocal lines (Feels snappy, no bad pauses) but I think the animations were made first, and then dialogue was told to stretch it out and that's why things don't align well.

curious with the lower player counts lately on if people are getting more enjoyment from halo 3, reach, 4, infinite, or others? i enjoy infinite and 3 a lot multiplayer but want to know where you guys spend more time. and has anyone tried other games and decided on them instead? the finals, marathon?

I haven't really read any of the halo books yet, but I remember hearing how spartan energy shields can tank small arms fire and it just barely drains the shields.

Though I do remember master chief crashing down from outer space though granted if I remembered right he got lucky.

Since other Spartan's who did the same thing either straight up died or are too injured to continue fighting which I find impressive technology to keep the user alive from getting mulched on impact.

The Striker Sidekick Variant is the best pistol in the entire series, this thing is almost broken it's so good. Super satisfying to use, feels great, the stopping power of CE's pistol, the fire rate of H2, and lightning fast reload speed.

It’s my first time playing Halo CE, and something about this game has been driving me insane.

I genuinely felt like I was taking crazy pills because the rocks are changing shape! I’m not joking. I looked online, I asked around, and nobody knew what the hell I was talking about. I couldn’t find anything. But I KNEW I saw it happen. I knew those rocks were different.
