I already have an associates in history and I am transferring to a state university. My plan is to get a bachelor's and then a masters in history. Afterwards I'll get my teaching license. Is this a sound plan?

hey all! trying to plan for u2 in civics and gov and this unit is focused on the am. govt and the founding principles of america. we cover the enlightenment, the revolution itself from the perspective of self governance and the articles of confederation in about 9 days. I’m starting interactive notebooks this year so i’m also interested in readings that can get some relevance & interesting perspectives or storytelling as they hear about the American revolution for at least the third time in their public education journey - ideally a conversation starter & something that helps the non-readers get invested. this is for a 10th grade class in southern usa. anything is appreciated, if you have lesson/activity ideas i’m happy to hear that too!

Im a first year teacher being given 3 US History classes, a US Regents Prep class, and a Gov/Econ class. I student taught US History in Jersey and am really lost on teaching Gov and Econ especially. Im also not sure about the differences between the Regents Prep class and my normal US History class. Do those students have another History class or already took US History? A lot on unsureness on my end atm.
