16 months after my total laparoscopic hysterectomy update!

I had my surgery on May 6, 2025, and wanted to come back and share a positive update now that it’s September 1, 2026.
Before surgery, I had adenomyosis, endometriosis, and ovarian cysts, primarily on my right ovary. That ovary had a cyst on it when it was removed. I was bleeding for months at a time without stopping, dealing with horrible pain and cramping, and my quality of life had become pretty terrible.
Now, almost 16 months later, I feel better than ever. I’m pain-free, able to do so much more, and actually enjoying life without constantly having to plan around bleeding or pain.
My only wish is that I could have had the surgery sooner. For me, it’s been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I knew I wanted relief, but being on the other side has made me realize just how much I was living with before.
Everyone’s experience is different, but I wanted to share my success story for anyone who needs a little hope. I’m so grateful to feel this good again. ❤️

Thanks so much for sharing. Did they take both ovaries? Are you on HRT?
