NATURE Tigers are solitary creatures that value personal space, while lions are social and clingy, often encroaching onto the tiger's very space.

Every introvert has a friend who isn't one.

That’s clearly not true. I’m an introvert and I have no friends.

u/bomilk19 Jul 11 '26

I’d be your friend, but I’m also an introvert.

I’m also an introvert but I’ll pretend to be your extrovert friend. But sadly I can only do it behind closed doors.

u/Bazzness Jul 11 '26

I’m a social extrovert so people don’t ask me back!

12

u/trippendeuces Jul 11 '26

Introverted extrovert here, life is so draining being me.

u/Keldrabitches Jul 11 '26

Ambivert. I heard last night

2

u/trippendeuces Jul 12 '26

Hmm, that was a new word for me. I like saying introverted extrovert because it sounds slick. Ambivert will sound smart.

I just have depression and am hot and cold wirh people.

Me, an introvert, and my friend, also an introvert, are like this with each other. We rarely talk but we always think about each other. 🥲

I have the DLC bundle of mental illness and I’m too much for people.

2

u/Bazzness Jul 12 '26

Nat bud you’ve got it the wrong way around. People are too less for you!

2

u/DutchAngelDragon12 Jul 12 '26

Not gonna lie, that made me chuckle a little.

2

u/Bazzness Jul 12 '26

Yeah, I used to feel like I was a second late with every conversation and someone would always jump in before I said my bit. Now people ask my opinion so I pause hoping they answer for me or someone else jumps in

2

u/EarlyXplorerStuds209 Jul 12 '26

Why do I relate too much to this lmao

2

u/airplane_flap Jul 12 '26

Same id rather be on my own but when I need to be out with people I'm the extrovert. It's taking me longer to recharge

u/Throwaway999991473 Jul 11 '26

Guys don’t worry I’m a 60% extrovert, should be enough to adopt you all as friends

1

u/Keldrabitches Jul 11 '26

Prolly same. At least 55 percent

3

u/Cam_E_Leon Jul 11 '26

...with red lights and a swing hanging from the ceiling

Edit: also mirrors everywhere

2

u/Overall_Signal_8437 Jul 11 '26

You guys should throw a party.

6

u/FormerWorker125 Jul 11 '26

We can be friends let's just stay at our own homes and chat sometimes

1

u/Keldrabitches Jul 11 '26

We don’t like that

2

u/FormerWorker125 Jul 12 '26

Introvert doesnt mean antisocial but you do you

1

u/Keldrabitches Jul 12 '26

I said that because I’m an extrovert ha

2

u/Extreme-Honey3762 Jul 11 '26

I’d be an extrovert but I’m not your friend

2

u/stonesliver2 Jul 11 '26

I'm a social introvert, I love people and their stories, but I get drained and overwhelmed easily. Tell me your favorite food and band and movies and then gimmie your number so I can never text you back

1

u/whoji Jul 11 '26

Hi, tiger.

1

u/HashishAbdulKebab Jul 12 '26

I'm a Schizoid and I don't want any friends

29

u/Forsaken-Income-2148 Jul 11 '26

You haven’t been adopted by an extrovert yet, and that’s perfectly okay

10

u/JakeGylly Jul 11 '26

Mortys without a Rick

10

u/Forsaken-Income-2148 Jul 11 '26

Some of us don’t get adopted by extroverts. We evolve into Jerry Prime.

3

u/catim Jul 11 '26

Don't worry, sooner or later your assigned extrovert will come along. We all have one.

3

u/ItzLoganM Jul 11 '26

Your time shall come. Either that, or you'll be an extrovert yourself.

1

u/MadeOnThursday Jul 11 '26

Are you okay with that? Because it's no problem if it's not a problem for you 😊

1

u/Serious_Attempt9724 Jul 11 '26

You'll get adopted by an extrovert eventually

1

u/Keldrabitches Jul 11 '26

Dude I’m apparently an ambivert?!? Hit me up

16

u/Rosykisses_13 Jul 11 '26

I literally wouldn't have any friends if it wasn't for extroverts deciding to adopt me lol

2

u/catim Jul 11 '26

you and many of us

1

u/Thomasin-of-Mars Jul 12 '26

I always wondered if any introvert appreciates this or not because I don't. Every time someone extroverted attempts to adopt me, they completely ignore all the signs including my words that I am not interested.

1

u/Rosykisses_13 Jul 12 '26

Hmm, I haven't had that experience really except for with drunk people and I usually just find a way to Irish goodbye and rest assured they're not gonna care tomorrow. I've even given my phone number to a few of those and never heard from them again 🤷🏻‍♀️ but outside of that I haven't even had to tell anyone I wasn't interested...

I'm also not sure how often attempted adoption happens. I've had one extrovert bestie at every stage in my life (pre-k, elementary, middle school, high school, 20s) and I have no idea how it happened each time 🤔 they just started bringing me places and I went along lol

u/ichime Jul 11 '26

As an introvert my best friend is an extrovert and she exhausts me...but she's also the best and makes me enjoy going out, I'd probably stay alone inside all the time without her.

(and yes, she's the one who adopted me, of course)

3

u/catim Jul 11 '26

And thank goodness for that; I don't know what would become of us if they stopped adopting us.

5

u/UniqueLog8386 Jul 11 '26

And it's always your best friend who drives you fucking insane. But you'd do almost anything for them.

3

u/catim Jul 11 '26

absolutely

1

u/UniqueLog8386 Jul 11 '26

I would never give him the first bite of my sandwich, my favorite child or take him off of my gay bucket list item.

And I need him to acknowledge that.

3

u/Key_Mission7404 Jul 11 '26

Im an introvert and my friends are always super extrovert people who basically adopt me. I love it.😂

1

u/catim Jul 11 '26

They are the best.

1

u/MadeOnThursday Jul 11 '26

Until this thread, I'd never have guessed I'm actually the extroverted friend.

1

u/Alarmed_Drop7162 Jul 11 '26

Extroverts claim us for some reason

1

u/theycallmemorty Jul 11 '26

I was going to say, as an introvert married to an introvert, there's a chance you can have a child that is the Lion. My wife and I have one Tiger and one Lion.
