NATURE Tigers are solitary creatures that value personal space, while lions are social and clingy, often encroaching onto the tiger's very space.

Tiger: "I Like My Space."

Funniest part to me is that they're close enough that the tiger can read the lion's body language and realize it's friendly. So the tiger reacts with annoyance but not anger or fear.

Dogs and lions are both pack animals. We just call lion packs "prides" because we think they're special.

Yea that definitely makes since. I guess you could say the same about Orcas, Cheetahs, Dolphins, Hyenas, Meerkats, Chimps etc. I guess they're all just special too.

Lion:
"That's a really nice space you have there.... be a real shame if something were to happen to it!!" 😆
33
u/Acidyo Jul 11 '26
They're basically like cats and dogs.

Like, as a note. Its clear the Tiger is cool with the Lion and is in fact not upset. They would have no problem telling the other when they've had enough.

I think that tiger is a male due to the size and face being more broad and its large Ike the lion’s with pronounced ruff on the cheeks.

As an introvert my best friend is an extrovert and she exhausts me...but she's also the best and makes me enjoy going out, I'd probably stay alone inside all the time without her.
(and yes, she's the one who adopted me, of course)
4
u/catim Jul 11 '26
And thank goodness for that; I don't know what would become of us if they stopped adopting us.

A ranger at a lion conservation park said lions are very dumb with tiny attention spans. We were told to put a stick in their mouth if they get cranky, because they will be so distracted by the stick they forget they wanted to eat you
