Dogs and lions are both pack animals. We just call lion packs "prides" because we think they're special.

Yea that definitely makes since. I guess you could say the same about Orcas, Cheetahs, Dolphins, Hyenas, Meerkats, Chimps etc. I guess they're all just special too.
