The implosion of the Titan submarine (OceanGate) was so rapid that the pain wasn't even registered by the brain. They didn't feel anything at all. Utterly instantaneous.

Yea from the people on the boat above water, you could hear it on their radio/lab top whatever it was they were using

They also heard a "pop" a second before the last signal. In the video you can hear them say "what was that".
