Ummm.. average unskilled labour cost in India is 700/day so 4 days maybe ?

If I got paid 4 days of my salary for running a marathon, I'd happily accept it.

Wouldn't be enough to make me run LOTS of marathons, but hey money is money...

(The people in this video are basically running at my marathon pace. This obviously wasn't any kind of major race with professional runners.)

Ya but they aren’t paying you to participate—only if you win. Would you still run knowing you only get paid if you win? Probably not

For a housemaid it depends heavily on geographical location, but it might well be a month of working in a home part-time 2 to 3 hours a day. In Beed, an oft drought-struck part of India with chronic economic issues, it's a lot of money for someone who works a lot to earn a pittance. Source: I'm Maharashtrian

It's average and I know many daily wagers getting paid around Rs. 400/day (for women labour).
