For a bit of context Iām 27 and have always been a huge sci-fi fan, I love dystopian ideas, theories of time travel and all sorts, Iād like to say Iāve watched most of what there is to watch when it comes to sci-fi.
Somehow, interstellar slipped through the net, until tonight. Me and my friends were in a discord call debating whether we should call it a night after gaming or group watch a film and wind down. Then came the conversation of what film should we watch, recently weāve been trying to pick films none of us have watched so we all get to experience it for the first time together.
A friend asked if Iād seen interstellar, I said I knew of it and the only thing I knew was how much processing power it took for them to generate the black hole, but that was all I knew. He said it was his favourite film of all time, my other friend in the call also said he hadnāt seen it.
All I can say is that this film instantly became the number 1 film Iāve ever watched in my entire life. It was gripping throughout especially with the plot twist and the ending was spectacular, I was blown away. I donāt tend to get emotionally moved by many films but I found myself crying at the ending. Christopher Nolan really produced something special, phenomenal.
