Hi everyone, Raphaël here, the developer of Everyday Looper!

Back in June I posted here asking for help testing the rebuilt version of my 2009 looper (https://www.reddit.com/r/ipadmusic/s/u3qrxy8RTM), and a bunch of you jumped in. Today it's live on the App Store, and I wanted to come back and say thank you properly.

Things that changed directly because of beta feedback:

• Full rotation support on iPad, the app now works in every orientation
• A metronome for count-in recording
• Compatibility extended back to iOS 17.7, so older devices can run it
• And a pile of bug fixes, of course

For anyone who missed the beta thread, here's what it does: 8 tracks you touch directly to mix, mute, merge and overdub, echo cancellation so you can loop through the speaker with no headphones, synced video capture, per-track undo/redo, speed/reverse, and adaptive track lengths.

The demo is by Ty Suite, a long-time Everyday Looper user. It was performed, recorded, and filmed entirely inside the app on an iPhone, through the speaker, with no headphones.

The 1.14 update for Reverie brings two AUv3 plugins, one in each direction.

Parallel Minds: Reverie is an instrument. It opens the soundscapes you have already made in the app and plays them from a keyboard, inside GarageBand, AUM, Logic, Cubasis or any other AUv3 host. It follows the host transport, and the controls are MIDI mappable and automatable.

Parallel Minds: Reverie Capture is an effect. Put it on a bus, arm it, and it records that bus directly into Reverie, ready to become your next soundscape.

What neither plugin can do is generate inside your DAW, and I have not found a way around it. Depending on the length and the effect chain the render needs too much RAM, and it would crash the host because of the maximum an AUv3 is allowed.

The rendering still happens in the app.

Also in 1.14:

• Recording from the iPad microphone or a USB interface
• Region selection on the source, an in point and an out point to choose the part that gets used
• Loop playback on every result
• Drag and drop from Files now works

For anyone who missed the July post: you give Reverie a sample, a loop, a voice or a field recording, and it generates a long evolving ambient piece out of it. Feed it the same ten seconds twice and you get two different results. Everything runs on the device, and what you make is royalty free.

Im have never been interested or use audio samples or loops.
I always compose with midi drive auv3’s and effects

But now I am interested in creating music and visuals together , and would like to showcase my talented friend’s musicianship on various instruments.

Basically I want to sequence video loops and stabs to create the music core of the tracks while also helping to creat the live accompaniment visuals for the music

I have VS 2 and Drambo so maybe there is a way I can do this.
