🎉🎉 Announcement 🎉🎉 Happy International Dog Day (art by u/iniuriart) [Other]

Happy International Mutt Day to the goodest (and loudest) boy in Bohemia!

Since today is International Dog Day, we wanted to take a moment to appreciate the true hero of Kingdom Come: Deliverance: Mutt.

We commissioned this artwork from iniuriart to celebrate our most faithful companion. (Visit BlueSky or Twitter for more of Ini's art.)

((edit: Their Reddit account is u/iniuriaa !))

Let’s be honest, we all have a love hate relationship with Henry’s faithful pup. Sure, he might stand in the doorway or start howling at the top of his lungs the absolute second you try to sneak into a Cuman camp at midnight.

But who else is going to grab a bandit by the ankle while you desperately try to remember how to pull off a master strike? Who else is going to singlehandedly hunt enough hares to keep Henry from saying, "I feel quite hungry" every five minutes ? We gladly feed him half our hard earned dried sausages because, at the end of the day, he's a very good boy.

While Mutt is happily chasing rabbits in the Sasau woods and enjoying infinite pets from Theresa, there are real life pups out there who could use a few groschen.

To celebrate International Dog Day, we’re encouraging the community to throw a few coins toward https://www.four-paws.org/

FOUR PAWS International is a global non-profit animal welfare organization focused on protecting animals under direct human influence. Founded in Austria in 1988, the organization works through direct rescues, advocacy campaigns, and long-term sanctuary care.

If you appreciate a world where nature and animals are treated with respect, consider tossing a few groschen to FOUR PAWS. Every donation gives real world animals a second chance.

Donate to FOUR PAWS https://donate.four-paws.org/

Whether you can spare a few groschen or just want to share the link, any help is appreciated.

Feel free to share your favorite or most frustrating Mutt moments in the comments below. Or, share with us your real life Mutt!

Just got the first build and compile list signed off by the project manager, who quite frankly has also had enough for one day as well. 🐇

I will stop spamming this subreddit about the darn watch now, but just wanted to do a final update letting you guys and gals know; that now you are able to grab the .PRG files for 28 different Garmin models at: https://kcdwatch.com

And yes, they're completely free to download.

While dry Devil is a noble who is like yeah fk the nobility and courtesy bllsht and he becomes a war commander and a murder because he just feels like it

Last weekend we spend time at Trosky castle and a nearby Hrubá skála palais. Made a few pictures round there.

I heard a story from a guide on the Panna tower. The Old Otto von Bergov had a wife (also older like himself) and there was a young niece who lived with them. Ladies didn't like each other so they each lived in another tower. From there the names baba (old woman) and panna (young girl or literally "a virgin" in czech).

It is just one possible way to explain the tower's names, perhaps not the correct ones, but I like it.

Meme [KCD2] I find it funny that Sir Semine says not mention he's here to the bailiff while the bailiff is practically looking out the window at you. Spoiler

In the quest "The Jaunt" for blacksmith Radovan, you, Gnarly, and Sir Jan Semine search for Blacksmith Radovan's cart. While searching, you stop at the rathaus in Troskowitz to talk to the bailiff. When you get there, Sir Semine, in full view of the bailiff, asks you not to let the bailiff know he's there.

I used to hate painting landscapes but this game finally got me to enjoy it. The world is just too beautiful, it was so much fun to roam around and look for good spots to use as references!

Question Just started [KCD1]

Upvotes

Played a few hours now and goddamn it’s a great game. My only question is a lot of the casting for the characters terrible throughout the whole game?
Examples are Divish, is clearly an old man, but has a young to middle age American accent.
The priest sitting at the table with Radzig, Hanush, Hans Capon, etc. Hanush makes a reference to the priest being fat and eating him out of home, yet the priest is not fat, and again his accent doesn’t suit the character model.
Please do not take this as me shitting on the game, it’s magnificent so far from small amount I have played, and heard about the possibilities. I was just curious as everything is so good, these are kinda polarising while playing..
Was it a small team that developed the first game?

Twig on the path [KCD1] Kingdome come is the perfect storm for someone with ADHD

I played this game for straight 14 hours and I have trouble letting go most of the time. There is so much to do, repair armour, repair shoes, do sidequest, hunt animals, steal from peasants, steal from leige lord, grind your sword, eat food. NGL I hated this game in the beginning but as these things became second nature the whole game became intuitive af and the whole game design really shines through. The writing is so good and I have gotten pretty good with combat, every win feels earned and the game itself even to this toda so damn beautiful.

I honestly can't wait to begin KCD2 but I have to hold the horses since I have work too. Goddamn I am an addict now

Praise Once I accepted that this game was meant to be a realistic Medieval Sim, the game and fighting just made more sense so thank you for all your patience and advice [KCD2]

I've been ranting the last few days how frustrating the fighting is. I mean it still is. I eventually see it now as a very human way of playing the game.

I'm a human carrying a large freakin piece of metal. I imagined as if it was atleast 15-17 pound dumbell and I'm swinging it around with force. The swing is exhausting, the recovery is exhausting. I gotta be smart with my stamina because if I get tired and can't keep that sword up or can't swing it, I'm dead.

I kept moving more and I just stopped swinging unless necessary. I don't even do clinches too just in case I lose and get damaged myself. I fight like an out boxer maintaining my distance and stopped brawling. It's not as fun like a standard hack and slash would be but man it's satisfying when you kill an enemy with being patient.

I learned Master Strike but even that needs some practice still. I usually end up fighting bandit parties of three so when I'm surrounded I end up getting overwhelmed. I do get it now. I'm still not fully in love with this game yet but I'm not as pissed anymore either

Now if only I can figure out how to aim with a bow

Discussion [KCD2] Finished kcd2 today, I feel empty.

Upvotes

As the title said, I finished kcd2 after around 110 hours of playing. The game was great and really fun, even if angering at the begining because of my own lack of skill and understanding of the many game mechanics.

Now that I finished the game, I don't have a lot to do aside from buying the other dlcs (already did mysteria ecclesiae) and finish the few side quests I still have.

I already miss all those interactions with the other characters, like Zizka, Godwin and Adder, and also the relationship with rosa and Katherine.

Going back to places that used to be important feels weird, like Nebakov, trosky, suchdol... You know what feeling i'm reffering too

Game was so good I don't even know what to play anymore. When I can, i'll go buy the first game.
