Replayability:
You’ll get decent replayability mainly out of the hub world planets. There’s many challenges to complete, and many other characters to unlock. This game reacts more like a giant playground to explore, than a traditional LEGO game. I’m starting with the good first,as there are flaws with this game. So let’s begin!

Gameplay:
Pros:
Combat from past Star Wars games, has been amplified for the better here. Combos return from LTFA being more fleshed out than ever, with some characters being faster and some being slower.
Cons:
Enemies gauges are nice for a change, but they feel spongy in this game, compared to the most recent LOTDK. Bosses tend to be worse as lightsabers do minimal damage to them compared to past games. You tend to win against bosses anyway,so the fights feel very slow just to complete a mission. I really wish they took the Podracing direction with the bosses, where you could actually lose and have to repeat the missions. This is the sixth game after all,and something like that would at least make the game a little difficult.
Speaking of Bosses you don’t fight all of them here. For example it would have been nice to fight Darth Vader on the Death Star in New Hope or General Grievous on his ship in ROTS,but instead they’re limited to cutscenes.

Story:
The story for this is weird, because at times it feels like it wants to tell the story of the movies, and then other times it skips scenes and cuts down dialogue. This happens throughout, and you wonder what they’re trying to do by locking you into cutscenes, when they’re going to cut dialogue and not tell the entire story. It really feels like Star Wars greatest hits by skipping them, and as a Star Wars fan I feel like this isn’t what we want. Also the slow walking in some of these levels is boring. The dialogue is nice, but the first level on the Separatists Ship Phantom Menace, and Kamino in AOTC is downright boring. You’re left continuously walking the majority of those levels, and it’s immersive but again what’s the point, because those levels of those movies are completely rushed anyway!

The Openworld/Playground and Characters:
This you wanted this just for the Openworld, then this game is great for you. There are so many kyber bricks, characters, and data cards. There are mini kits here too,but they’re not too interesting in this game. What is interesting though are the mass roster and data cards you collect. The data cards just replace the red bricks here, but the design of them is interesting. Also you’ll be very busy,as I’ve said before there are many challenges and puzzles in this openworld.

The Levels are Too Short,Where are the other Star Wars Stories?! :
I’ve been saving this for last, and I’m glad TT Games addressed this in “LOTDK”. Skywalker Saga is a celebration of nine movies, and so WHEN YOU GO BIG,YOU GO ALL OUT!! You don’t shorten levels and call it a day,but that’s exactly what they did!
Also where is Rogue One,Solo,Obi Wan story,Book of Boba Fett ect…?! TT Games has been very good with adding DLC levels from other stories in their world,in other LEGO games. Here they just added DLC characters without their respected levels, and disappointment after disappointment, this is more disappointing as DLC levels have always been added to a big property like Star Wars and Batman. Also I hope “LOTDK” DLC extends past Mayhem Mode, with The most recent Green Lanterns show,Superman and Supergirl movies.

Conclusion:
This game is good, whether it pales it comparison to Complete Saga,I’ll leave that to you,but after knowing what to expect after four years of not playing it,it’s better than my playthrough at release. Still what I mentioned above, this game even compared to a traditional LEGO game is still disappointing, but if you look past that then you’ll probably have a great time. This will probably be the last LEGO Star Wars we get for a long time, and the fact we didn’t get DLC levels is just sad:(
