I’ve always been a big fan of this reanimated little turtle corpse ever since I first unlocked them in Mario Party 7. They’re easily my go-to main in every game they’re made playable in due to their adorable pseudo-spooky design and those fun animations they do where they detach their head and completely break apart after losing. If you choose to main them out of all the Mario characters available then you have my respect.

I've been going back and forth about making this post for a few days but I'm a little over a year post top surgery, a little over 3 years on T, and a little under having lived with my gf for 3 years. when i still lived with my mum it was really hard to convince myself to eat during the day because my stepdad spent all his time in the kitchen and was really judgemental over what I ate, so while I did eat a proper homecooked dinner from my mum every da, I was still quite skinny, and I was mega dysmorphic and thought I was a LOT thinner than I was and it really upset me, but I just couldn't do anything about it. now I've been living with my girlfriend, not only have I made huge strides in my transition way faster than I ever expected, but she's been really encouraging me to look after myself and reminding me that eating anything is better than eating nothing, so I've gained a decent amount of weight and my stomach and some of my chest have gotten really hairy, and it's all such a beautiful testament to how far I've come in life and how much progress I've made towards living a life that makes me happy

on top of that all, I really love how "imperfect" my scarring is, my incision scars are asymmetrical and a little wobbly, one of my nipples healed flat because I got impatient with my healing, they're weird and long because I'm too independent, and everything about the way my chest has healed tells you a little bit of the story of who I am as a person

I'm growing into the person i was always meant and deserved to be, and the only drawback of the fact that my torso shows that better than anything else on my body is that I can't go shirtless 24/7 and show the world "look at me! I am walking proof that no matter how scary everything is, it can get better!"
