I live in Korea, a non-English-speaking country, and I absolutely love hearing you use that phrase. In Korean, it is surprisingly hard to find an idiomatic expression that gives this kind of small happiness to ordinary, insignificant moments.

You place so much value on little bits of good fortune, small encounters, brief conversations, and even silly jokes, and somehow draw enough warmth from them to carry you through the day. What I especially love about this expression is the way it openly acknowledges that another person made you happy while also thanking them for it. And in doing so, it ends up making the other person happy as well.

All because of something as simple as a casual joke or a short conversation.

I think there is something incredibly bright and warm about that.

PS :: I was going to add a flair, but none of them really seemed to fit. I guess even for this subreddit, this little bit of happiness was too trivial. Haha.
