HELP PLEASE Can't do eyeliner on a chubby face

Post image
0 Upvotes

I'm not sure if this will make sense but I have very hooded eyes and my eyebrows are very close to my eye. Whenever I try to make a straight line the brush instantly gets caught by the goddamn fat near my eye and instantly makes an overturned C shape. I tried to stretch that place but nope, then the eyeliner turns out to be wrong because once again, fat on my face so it turns out crooked. I didn't know the best way to show what I mean so I just drew on the curvatures with a red marker lmao. Any advice? Or any make-up looks for such a hooded eye... You can barely see any eye shadow on it too. 🥲

So I posted here before because I feel I don't look alt; one of the tips I received was to do my eyebrows thinner, but I feel I look worse?

See previous pics for reference. What can I improve?

I posted yesterday and overwhelmingly the feedback was that my brows need done. They’ve been shaped and thinned. What do you think now?

Also, I just wanted to thank all of you who commented. I live in a southern state so it isn’t always the most friendly. I received so much support and validation yesterday, you will never know how much that meant 💕

HELP PLEASE How to look less scary? 😭

Post image

I haven’t been the most confident in my current makeup looks and today my coworker said my makeup today was “scary”, not sure what that means. I have on concealer, blush, mascara, and eyebrow tint. Is there a way I can do my makeup that compliments my hair and eyes and not make me look scary? What looks should I be going for? Thank you!

Edit: Omigosh guys you are all so sweet!!! Thank you for the amazing and thorough advice everyone, I’m defo looking into perhaps a different color for my hair (I just recently toned it so I don’t want to change it yet) as well as my makeup placement. My coworker is just a blunt person and didn’t have ill intent, but I appreciate everyone for sticking up for me lol. Thank you guys, I shall have an update soon.

However, im back again to see what I might need to improve on. AS WELL AS help with the eyeshadow crustiness.

So far I have :
Switched eyeshadow primers/setting sprays
Checked to make sure my eyeshadow was not expired
Used a hydrating concealer in place of a primer
& MOISTURIZED BEFORE STARTING MY MAKEUP**

BTW - I dont think any of these photos have a filter on them but I also can’t remember lolz

HELP PLEASE Trans woman looking for advice on technique/products for my skin tone and face shape

Hi! I've been doing makeup for a while but I'm still figuring out what specifically works best for my face shape and skin tone as I continue my transition. Photos attached were taken with my Android phone, different lighting in each, so hopefully you can get a decent read on my actual skin tone. Looking for advice on: Foundation/concealer shades that might suit my undertone, any techniques to soften jaw/brow area, general feedback on what's working and what isn't Open to honest critique! Thank you 💕

HELP PLEASE Very uneven face

Ok, so I have just seen this happen more and more as I've aged post pandemic (F34 now), but my face has gotten increasingly unsymmetrical. In the mirror, my brows (which are currently filled using ELF micro-fine brow pencil every day since I have barely any brow) look fine, but photos look insane. I've not been able to do eyeliner because of my eye shapes changing so differently, and I have to overdraw my lips to make them look symmetrical. My eye bags are getting to the point that I can't cover them at all.

I'm genuinely at a loss on what to do anymore. Makeup used to be so simple for me, but it's just getting almost impossible. Please help?!

(First photo is light through the window, the second is the mirror light with my hand used to bounce the light due to it being darker on that side of the room)

HELP PLEASE How do I cover up dry/dead skin?

Thumbnail

My birth control has started giving me the WORST acne I have ever had in my life. I’m seeing a dermatologist and I’m on something topical for it, but naturally it’s drying and now I just have really bad combinarion skin. I’ve noticed I get a lot of dry/dead skin especially on the lower half of my face, under my nose, in the folds of my cheeks, but sometimes it’s the whole T-zone.
Does anyone have any recs to help cover it up so the make-up won’t crack/smudge? These photos were taken maybe an hour after I did my full face so it will get worse than this throughout the day too.
Typically I do primer (milk or neutrogena), CC cream (elf but thinking of switching to It), and then spot correct with the colour pop concealer. Milk finishing powder and nyx setting spray go on once it’s dry.
Anything is appreciated, thank you!!

I’ve been doing my makeup practically the same since hs. Wondering if there’s anything else I can do to improve?

Ik my contour looks a bit muddy and doesn’t tend to stay even with setting spray and my aegyo-sal also applies unevenly more often than not. Hoping for some tips to help with these too. TIA!

What are some recommendations you have to achieve this? Any specific lashes I should buy?? I feel like that’s the most important part…

HELP PLEASE lash style recommendations

Post image

the lashes i have on right now looks fine IRL but i would like them to show up a bit more. i think they look too natural.

which lash style & map do you recommend for me?

i’d like to think i have partially hooded, round-ish eyes. not very upturned though because anything long and heavy at the ends tend to droop my eyes instead of lifting/elongating it.

HELP PLEASE Help me improve my make up! 🌷

Post image

I’ve been doing my make up like this for about 5 years now. I want to try something different, I don’t even know if this suits my face shape because I’ve been so used to doing my make up like this. And should I switch to cool tones? For some reason AI told me cool tones would suit me better, but I’m not sure.

Please, any tip is helpful!

And thank you for reading, if someone didn’t told you today: you’re beautiful and worthy 🌷

I never really did makeup before but i really want to try. I want to emphasize my eyes more but unsure what to do and which colours to use. Usually i use brown mascara, brown eyeliner on my upper lash line, some light eyeshadow and top it off with bronze eyeshadow stick. Many people told me i should use more than that and i agree (i just don't what to use and how)
