In Avengers Endgame, how come 2023 Captain America struggled against 2012 Captain America?
Surely, Steve in 2023 should have been stronger in 11 years, since he's the type of character who trains frequently.

It's not like 2023 Captain was holding back against 2012 Captain, because even if he killed 2012 Captain by accident, it won't affect his timeline, since it's branched (explained by Hulk).

Any thoughts?

I just finished the show. I had to see for my own eyes.

I've heard the show was bad BUT I wasn't expecting to be that BAD. Like holy shit, they straight up ruined RHODEY, u can't tell me that he was a skrull all along. They wasted Maria hill, and made the most op mcu character ever that we probably won't ever see again. Don't get me started with the Ai-generated intro i was wondering why the art style looked weird at first and yup, they used AI on this show. I am now certain that the script they used in this show had probably used ai as well.

So I figured out on how to make this show tie-in to the whole MCU.

Seriously, all Kevin Feige has to do is announce and re-canonize it as a live action What if...? and everything will be back to how it was. It would explain away all the ridiculous shit that happened, like Rhodey being a Skrull, Maria Hill dying, and G'iah becoming ridiculously overpowered. Just establish that these events was just a what if, and the main MCU can continue as if none of it ever happened.

Maybe it'll be the scene before the end credits

I've already watched Xavier die a few times, what's one more? Whether it's the Sentinels or genetically modified crops, mutants were doomed in 2 movies, what's being erased by the actual Doom? My man Cyclops already went out pathetically once, if he dies again then hopefully he goes down swinging at least.

To me, this was the best friendships we had in the MCU (rivaling Tony & Rhodes, and Steve & Bucky).

It really brought it full-circle when Loki refused to shake Mobius’s hand when they first met, and then Loki was the one initiating the gesture after seeking advice.

Makes it all the sadder that Loki will spend eternity alone with his ‘glorious purpose’. (I hope he survives Doomsday & Secret Wars)

Norman's goblin formula made him far stronger than any MCU super soldier and yes it has the insanity side effect but it's not guaranteed given Harry didn't become crazy (and MCU super serums also have a similar effect where they enhance bad traits of the subject)

Otto on the other hand created his mechanical arms which are so strong they were evenly matched with Spider-Man wearing the Iron Spider, a suit created by Tony Stark himself

Not to mention both are knowledgeable in nanotechnology which in the MCU was only available until Infinity War (Banner didn't know what nanotechnology was when he saw Iron Man suit up in IW while Otto immediately recognized it in NWH) so all in all Raimiverse was actually quite advanced technologically speaking

There are some characters whose MCU look I prefer compared to the original material. Do you have any examples of characters whose MCU look you also prefer?

Some of these, like Falcon and Ant-Man, I don't even think the MCU costumes are that good, but the comic book ones manage to be worse. A detail about Daredevil: I think his costume works perfectly and is beautiful in the comics, but it's a costume that wouldn't work in other media, and the TV series costume is the best possible costume for the character in live-action. And Ultron, I think the original mouth is better, but otherwise I prefer the MCU one; they just needed to improve the mouth a little and for me it would be perfect.

Really kind of weird how much they seem to actively avoid it.

Hulk is not in Civil War, where for the first time General Ross returned

Banner literally enters the room right after Ross's hologram call is ended in Infinity War

Captain America Brave New World is basically a Hulk movie minus The Hulk, although weird they have no problem with Liv sharing the screen with Ford.

Oh and Hulk has no scenes with Blonsky in She Hulk

Maybe now that we have a new Ross, they can finally meet back up
