Isn't that a totally different story though? Like the game's characters are based off the comic book series but they diverge heavily, it's just an adaptation isn't it?

Bill Willingham confirmed that the games aren't canon.

He wanted them to be, but the studio just kept changing too many things.

Personally, I was annoyed when they apparently forgot about Bigby's heightened senses, and they had him not realize someone was hiding in a closet right next to him.

I just picture the last minute of the game doesn't exist. Still an amazing world though and I would really like to see more of "Fairy Tales now live in our world."

Is the comic series still a noir mystery though? From what I've heard of its descriptions it almost reads like a Garth Ennis "The Boys" edgelord type of comic. You know the "dark for the sake of being dark" which I'm not a fan of anymore.
