We’re seriously letting Freddy Peralta dog walk us with the most efficient game he’s pitched all season?
I don’t know what I should’ve expected.

I wonder if the Mets can convince him to try another position. Because sweet Jesus, he’s been making a ton of errors at Short this season.

Constant freaking cut outs with both video and audio. It's 2026. Wtf

What is a realistic price for this card? Don’t know much about the baseball card industry and realize this card is more valuable to us Mets fans (at the moment anyways).

It was also 1,201 days since the Mets last beat the Rays in a regular season game (May 18, 2023). Trends continue to shatter thanks to this team. LFGM!

This season has had more than a few embarrassing moments. If it were to happen, where would being shutdown by ex-Met legend Peralta rank on the list of embarrassing moments?

I was just looking at 2024 season, arguably the best year in the last decade…after 2015 crazy turn of events after they got Ces
There was a reason we chanted MVP for Lindor and not Pete that year and I feel like Mets fans don’t appreciate what Lindor had been as a met after his first year getting traded to NY from lame ass Cleveland.
2024 stats
WAR G PA AB R H 2B HR RBI SB BB BA OPS
Alonso: age 29 season
2.5 162 695 608 91 146 31 34 88 3 70 .240 .788
Lindor: age 30 season
6.8. 152 689 618 107 169 39 33 91 29 56 .273 .844
Like I said I love Pete, and never wanted to see him wear any other colors. But you people need to understand how good Lindor is, and how he’s everything we’ve wanted for so long. He’s an elite player when he’s healthy, pretty much every season but this one, and his last month he’s back at it. Him and Soto, with Benge, Bo, Ewing are a great core of players. I wish Pete was in that group, we’d be thinking WS next year and we prob woulda kept Clay homes. Maybe he comes back, as unlikely as it is he leaves Wrigley, we gave him his chance like we did Lugo, who wanted to stay but Mets disrespected. I think they know how good Clay is and told him talk t us next year b4 you sign anywhere (I think he opts out to set up rest of his life, but could take 1 but think he’s worth closer to 80/4 and Mets will offer it)
My point here is as much as we all miss Pete, we have a top tier SS/ MLB stud in Lindor and he’s over looked by a lot of Mets fans. Him and Soto 1-2, w Benge and Bo behind them, are super dangerous. Obviously I wish Pete was hitting 4th and Bo 5th, we’d be super deep…but I think Bo isn’t a met if Pete is here and their WAR and OPS will be very close next year, and Bo plays 3b
Again I am in no way defending Stearns, I hate Pete isn’t a met. This post is to stick up for Lindor which I feel like I have to do way more since 2021. It’s stupid. Just about every team would take him, and his contract if given the option. Mets never considered shopping him and ur crazy if you think we shoulda!
Wake up, he’s the best SS since that asshole who ruined my childhood from the Bronx!!!

A question for fans of October baseball… who’s bandwagon are you joining? Assuming we say “no” to Yankees, braves, dodgers, and Phillies…. That leaves Brewers, Cubs, Rays, Red Sox, SD/AZ, and a few other mediocre teams… VOTE BELOW

Is it worth buying the Mrs. Met HOF Induction Party ticket during Saturday’s pre-game from 1:30-2:30 PM? I want to buy a ticket with the sole purpose of taking pictures with each of the 15 mascots that were invited. The post does not say that photo opportunities with the mascots are guaranteed. How have “Mascot party” experiences fizzled out in the past at Citi?

Watching Peralta pitch against them say the Mets pitching coach should go.

Hopefully he’ll get a chance to play every day. This will be an audition for him to get some type of contract next year.

Mets YouTube Highlights got The team names mixed up. Oops.

Going to get ahead of his performance a bit…
This is probably his last start as a Mets pitcher so I hope he has a good end to his tenure

You people do not appreciate this man enough. He's pitching his heart out every outing and having more success than failure. 96 on the black to get Diaz. Works around the lindor error.
Yea morel just helped big time. Point stands. Get behind our boys especially when they are leaving it all on the field every time their name is called.

did the Mets already get eliminated in August or would a perfect September 24-0 record get them into the tournament?
I have a weird feeling an eerie feeling the Mets might go 24-0 this month
