- Juice and zest a bunch of them. Pour the juice and zest mixture into ice cube trays and freeze. Thaw a cube or two out whenever you need them for cooking and baking. Good for seafood, chicken, pasta, cakes, etc. You can also thaw the cubes in the microwave with a little water. Mix in sugar while it’s warm, then add cold water and ice. You now have perfect lemonade.

- slice them really thin and mix with raw honey. Store it in a jar in your fridge. It’s a fantastic thing to have around when you’re sick. You can also just eat the slices, peel and all, like candy. (Look up “yuja cha” but made with lemons. I’m not sure exactly what to call it, I’m sorry.)

- make candied lemon slices. Gift them to people who appreciate homemade gifts.

This is really making me want to buy lemons. The ice cube tray and honey ideas are brilliant.

One of these bad boys is worth every cent if you do decide to do it. They also make perfect orange juice.

Side note: …do people just like, not buy lemons with just about every grocery trip?

Oh, no, we buy sorta random produce so we try everything. We have a picky toddler. I buy one when needed for a recipe or a handful for lemonade. I try very hard to keep stuff from going bad so these tips are magical.

You can do the ice cube trick with lots of stuff! If you’re a fan of greens in smoothies you can purée them in the blender with your choice of milk or whatever. If you do it with kale it tastes less grassy when you use it in ice cube form and it’s less likely to freezer burn that way.

Pesto is another good one. I never use a whole jar of pesto fast enough after opening it.

Preserved lemons are also a thing, but I don't have a recipe off the top of my head.

Yuja cha is just translated directly into yuzu tea (or citron tea even though yuja/yuzu aren't citrons) usually

Thank you. I don’t know what exactly to call it. It’s thin lemon slices stacked in honey that you can eat or add to tea or just mix into hot water. It seems like there are different ways to make it, store it, and a few different cultures have different names for it lol. Some even let it ferment?

My Chinese friends used to keep it on hand and occasionally gave me some if I wasn’t feeling well. I asked around and was told it’s actually a Korean thing, not a Chinese thing. Idk man, I just really liked eating and drinking it.

I've never heard of people using lemons for it, I've always seen yuzu (a different yellow citrus fruit) or other fruits more common in Asia or ginger. Maybe they used whatever was on hand but then it'd be called lemon tea instead of yuzu tea.

Those are all great ideas BUT I feel like this is just enabling. She's learning there are no consequences for bringing home 150 lemons with no plan on what to do with them. Why is it OPs problem?

Hell yes, yujacha is the best
