My MIL was sucking on lemons to treat her sore throat that she was causing by sucking on lemons.

My mil eroded the enamel off of her teeth too. Her dentist was shocked. Mil had some bright idea that drinking squeezed lemon with hot water was healthy. As usual she always goes overboard with her crazy health fads thinking that more is better. She has also literally turned orange before from drinking too much carrot juice.
