This is my first MTG alter ever. I love oil painting, I've been painting for 30+ years now... but wow.. alters are so tiny! I'm loving it. Any comments/advice/criticism? Thanks!

Done with sharpies in a little over an hour

Made this beauty for my partner. It's certainly stupid but it's our kind of stupid. Definitely still learning the whole altering thing but I've gotten lots of good practice in. As always, input/advice appreciated!

Commission was for the iconic scene where the mechs walking in the stormy weather. Painted with brush acrylics and airbrushing.

I loved the thought of Bosh as this. He's just throwing giant hands all game anyways.

Word on the street is that touching the Goblin War Chief before a battle gives you luck...

however this is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN during his nap time!

Luckily, goblins lack both a sense of literacy and personal slace.

Very happy with the image but does anyone have advice for text? Is it generally better to just go full art rather than fight to do helvetica(or whatever) with a brush? Also GO TEAM VENTURE!

Second attempt of altering here. 🎨

Thought I'd pick up altering as a fun challenge, have a whole bunch of bulk I've set aside for fun ideas to practise with.

Golden Fluid Acrylics used, the Wargamer: Psycho Brush was a must.

Need to remove the varnish from the background with a bit of acetone, but very happy with how the texturing turned out!

In terms of pricing, how do you figure out a reasonable amount? Obviously base cost of the card is taken into consideration.
