Has anyone gotten other CT libraries linked in Libby using your NHFPL card? Libby recently announced that they added library reciprocity in for libraries that have an agreement (and went in on the back end to set it up in the Libby system), but I am only seeing New Haven show up in Libby.

A coworker has a card to another CT library (not sure which) and said that they have the reciprocity showing up, so I am just trying to figure out if New Haven does not have it set up in Libby or if it is an issue on my end. I have a card for a library in MA and all of the reciprocal libraries are showing up, so I know it’s not an app issue.

I love the New Have Library, but their Libby selection is fairly small so I would love to get the reciprocity set up if I can

There’s been a lot of discourse on here about people looking for friends so I just wanted to put out there to the fiber arts people that the atwater public library on route 80 in north Branford does a casual needle arts from 10am to 1230pm on Wednesdays. I’m going tomorrow for the first time so if anyone else wants to be first timers together then come on!

Hi total longshot but on Saturday my silver charm bracelet fell off somewhere while walking around the downtown area. It has a ton of charms but one is a peridot stone. I’ve driven by this place a million times but never actually tried it. Any good? Wonder if they’re closing because rent is too high, because profits are too low, or because that area generally seems to be going even more downhill than it already was. Everything over there seems to have closed, and many of them have remained vacant.

Anyone have advice for living around that area? By the Cannon (?) vegan bar. I’ve lived in cities before, but am curious for advice as to parking? I have a relatively nicer car. Should I be concerned re: street parking? Where would you recommend parking. Thanks!

“Art” might be a stretch, but made a little robot man on my run the other day. Would like to make some different designs in future runs, though it will be a challenge to plot something more intricate in advance and then make all the right turns. There are some pretty good Strava artists out there though- curious if anyone has other New Haven examples?

I recently moved and want to get back into working out again. It’s been a while so I’ll be kind of starting at level 1 again. I’m looking around at gyms and some of them are pricey some aren’t. I was hoping someone would know a good gym around here. I’m not a big fan of all the big corporation gyms but I’ll take what I can get. I work near cedar hill and was wondering if there’s anything good nearby as I don’t have a car either. Any advice would be great! Thank you
