Because cheaper AC during the day that isn't immediately leeched away by the walls being oven-hot is way more important than at night, when the sun isn't turning your little house-van into a steam chamber. The roof at night would probably be pretty cool most of the time, with that huge window..

They also insulated it wrong and will have condensation problems. That vans going to rot out. There’s a reason the proper way to do this is with spray foam.

Tell me how they insulated it wrong? Genuinely curious, I know nothing about van builds.
