I feel like that's pretty much anywhere on the internet at this point, not limited to just 4chan or Reddit. There will always be people who will assume the worst out of anything.

Yeah but to this degree? I ain't seen that anywhere else.

And reddit didn't use to be like this btw, 13 years ago when I discovered this website it was a whole other vibe.

Way more positive and laid back.

Maybe you're right cuz I used to hang around a small sub for years before it noticeably got a lot more snarky over the time that I just stopped posting there. I still feel like the internet in general got a lot more miserable ever since the pandemic started, I'm on many other platforms and noticed how people seem to want nothing but negativity on others now :/
