You don't even need to have been in a relationship to get this. Just having a roommate should be enough to understand living in a tiny van with someone will quickly lose whatever charm it initially had.

I have lived togother with a few people, and have gottan along just fine with everyone I actually liked.

Oh nice. So we're on the same page. This might be down to personal preference then, but I don't think my relationship with a good friend or SO would be improved by living out of a fucking van.
