the aircraft carrier has a whole legal department. iirc their office is on the upper mid port side of the ship and its a really chill place to sip your coffee and avoid your division chief

that wouldn't work because there is an actual coffeeshop onboard lol. also legal is separate from the brig, the JAG on the ship will actually go talk to the foreign officials to negotiate legal terms on the sailor's behalf's. In most cases they will be protected from local prosecution with the promise that justice will be dealt (potentially twice) on our side.

Someone is gonna die for sure. Whether it be a poor girl, or some drunken idiot who picks the wrong area to be in. This is not going to end well.
