Always reminds me of the weird buddy i had out of high school that dropped out 9th grade and wanted to become a full time pitchfork reviewer. His writing and comprehension stayed at about a 9th grade level, and if any movie makes you think about a plot instead of just telling you he's furious and always has the weirdest takes. Dude was obsessed with the butterfly effect would watch it when he wakes up and goes to bed, that grew into a weird hatred of ashton kutcher that he'll straight dox people on twitter over if you bring it up.
We stopped talking and randomly he contacted me with tickets to a sold out concert. I figured eh why not surely he can't still be as insane as he was 10 years ago. "works" for a local independent paper doing reviews for "10 to 100 dollars a month" Now he hates pitchfork and they are the cringyest, and he keeps having roommates kick him out cuz they don't get he's workin it just takes time to make it.
