PSA & Tutorials To people still rocking a OP11
After a bit of reading around Reddit and other places I bought a new battery on AliExpress and replaced the old one. It's the OnePlus 12 model with 6000mha but works just fine on the 11. The only caveat is that the new battery is a little smaller so it leaves a gap on the bottom. No rattle or anything since it's glued. Did it myself and it was fairly easy.
Just wanted to leave this info here for people who are still happy with their OP11 like me but the battery is a little bit of a problem after 3 years.

Accessories & Gadgets Beware - Swiftronic import duties in US :O
I am a little bit shocked. I recently bought a Oneplus 15 from Swiftronics, and the transaction went great. Quick delivery with no surprizes. Now, I ordered a Sandstone case from them. The price was $19.99. Shipping was the first unpleasant surprize at $14.99, but I decided to eat it. Now, I got a notification from the UPS that import fees of $31.60 must be paid before delivery! So, it would be a total of $65 for a phone case!
Refusing the shipment does not seem to be an option. They threaten additional fees if I don't pay right away.
I do not blame Swiftronics for the fees that US imposes. But it would have been nice to be aware of them (and of how high they are (150% of the cost?!) before ordering.

General Discussion 20 Days with the OnePlus Buds 4 (8-10 hrs/day) + The Perfect EQ Setup that fixes stock sound
Hey everyone,
I’ve been daily driving the OnePlus Buds 4 for about 20 days now, putting in around 8 to 10 hours a day for music, calls, and videos. I upgraded straight from the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 neckband, and the difference is night and day.
Coming from a single-driver neckband, the jump in soundstage width, micro-detail, and instrument separation on these dual drivers was immediately noticeable. Easily the best all-around package under ₹10k right now in terms of battery endurance, solid ANC, and hardware capability.
That said, out of the box, the stock tuning is overly bass-heavy and slightly recessed in the mids. After extensive A/B testing across acoustic, hip-hop, and rock tracks, I built this custom 6-band profile to balance the sound signature.
The EQ Breakdown (-4, -2, +2, +1, -1, +2)
62 Hz (-4 dB): Cuts the bloated stock sub-bass shelf. You still get fast, tight sub-bass punch without the 11mm woofer muddying the rest of the track.
250 Hz (-2 dB): Cleans up the mid-bass veil and eliminates boxiness, giving male vocals and rhythm guitars much cleaner separation.
1 kHz (+2 dB): Corrects the recessed midrange dip, pulling vocals and lead instruments directly into the center stage.
4 kHz (+1 dB): Adds crisp consonant articulation and snare snap without pushing into the harsh, piercing territory at higher volumes.
8 kHz (-1 dB): Tames the micro-tweeter’s natural resonance peak to kill vocal sibilance ("S" and "T" hissing) and harsh cymbal crashes.
16 kHz (+2 dB): Restores top-end air and reverberation decay, widening the soundstage significantly.
Companion Settings
3D Audio / Spatial Audio: OFF (Prevents artificial phasing and audio smearing).
Golden Sound: OFF (Keeps the baseline frequency response consistent).
Quick 20-Day Takeaways
Battery Life: Easily handles marathon 8+ hour work sessions without battery anxiety. Fast charging top-ups are lightning quick.
ANC: Cuts low-frequency background hums and room fans effortlessly.
Hardware-wise, these punch well above their weight class once you dial in the EQ.
For anyone currently using the Buds 4, give this custom EQ preset a spin on your favorite playlist and let me know how it sounds to your ears. Open to any tweaks or thoughts in the comments!

General Discussion Is it possible to re enable the seach bar? After the latest firmware update to my 15R removed it.
I've used the search bar since it was a thing and now they just decided to remove it

General Discussion I missed the back fingerprint swipe for notifications from older phones, so I built Nodtify. Simply Nod to pull notification panel and quick settings. New update is live 📲
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Newer phones are too tall for one-handed notification shade and quick settings pull without physical fingerprint sensor so I made Nodtify to pull down the shade with a quick forward tilt of the phone.
🔒 100% Offline: Zero internet permission requested.
⚙️ Transparent: Uses Accessibility strictly to trigger the shade action.
🎛 Custom haptics, pause timers, excluded apps & schedules.
📲 Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.nodtify
Privacy & Permissions upfront:
Zero Internet Permission: The app does not ask for or have network access in its manifest. Nothing ever leaves your device.
Accessibility Service: Used purely for two things: triggering the global system action to pull down the shade and detecting the active foreground app so excluded apps (games, camera, etc.) remain muted.
Would love your feedback and thoughts!

General Discussion Is there a way to suppress the gaming mode pop up?
I'm talking about the "GAMES /Unrivaled Performance" thing.
Not only is it pretty meaningless, but I have several games that show some information when they start up and it covers the information, which disappears before the pop up does.
Googling for a solution was not encouraging, but maybe I just missed it.

OP15 Sound & Mobile Net Issues? OP15 2-3mos In - Sound just stops working. Mobile Network Trickles
I use Pure Talk. Traded in an S24 for OP15 and transfered it myself. Then called support, blanked network settings, and had them push the latest. Everything was peachy.
Now, weeks later, I pick up the phone and dial someone and I notice my finger-touches aren't sounding and when I hold the phone to my ear after dialing, it's silent. Volume buttons do nothing. But the power button works. Powering off and back on seems to restore things but often not for long. HELP?!?!?!!

General Discussion US Market OP16
When OP release the 16 to US citizens at any time? If not is there a way an American can buy the new OP 16 or any new releases?
