This is the first model I went all out on. I followed @thepaintingcoach YouTube video on how to paint it and learned TONS of new techniques. I’m loving contrast paints, but sometimes I want more “STUFF” to add like highlights or color differences and this showed me some stuff. The blue highlight on the armer is heavy for sure, but after some convening with others I decided to not try and fix it and leave it. Now I just need to make a custom base as the one they provide is boring.

Painting my killa kans and for the checker pattern I decided to use a fine tip permanent marker fine liner. It went 10x better than my previous attempts with a paint brush...

What's the verdict?

I pencil in the rough pattern and then just fine line it...

My girlfriend painted her nails based on my some of my ork minis. Can you recognize any of them?

Working through my Armageddon box. I've historically stuck to Space Marines and Astra Militarum, but these guys are soooo much fun to paint.

But this is definetly the mini i’ve worked the longest on and really jumped out of my comfort zone. Mainly i’ve done black templars, but the boring black got to me and i wanted colour, and what is better than Orks if you want colour, Nothing!!!

Started the Armageddon box after I did my kommandos. Now I’m looking at my progress wondering if I should go back and re-do it or keep them painted as is.

Alroight boyz! Level with me because maybe I just don't understand. A lot of people are saying Flash Gitz with their cutta profile will make for good anti-tank but I don't understand how. The AP and damage is... ok I suppose (rolled damage is never reliable), but at one shot, hitting on 4's, hazardous, AND mostly wounding tanks on 5+ still (As most are T10+), I'm not sure why I just wouldn't use a busta rokkit instead. What am I legitimately missing?

Got new storage/display cases to avoid all the dust that would collect on these. Was able to fill two with fully painted ork models! Plus a bonus grot/meganob case

Hey lads, my friend is obsessed with armor and tanks and only plays guard and space marines so he can bring dreadnoughts and tanks. My army is very limited at the moment (I'm very new to warhammer) and I have very little anti-tank capabilities aside from 3 deffkopptas and a battlewagon, but their hit rate is terrible. Does anyone have any recommendations for what I should pick up to counter Tanks and other armored vehicles?

I must admit I actually don’t dislike the pink now that I see this.

Recipe: grim rust, drybrushed with heavy metal and then stippled on AK Dead Red (the pink) followed with mix of dead red with light flesh. Then Imperial fist contrast yellow

I had alot of fun painting dis git, just gotta finish the base!

He’s finally ready (need to add a few things to the base) for the table this weekend with the drop of the new codex, however, my friend who’s new to the hobby wants to fight my custodes this time so my big yellow Ghaz will have to wait a week more!!
