Hey, is the Codex out already or releasing on 5th?
Asking as I’ve just bought a copy in the local store but it seems a little early.

Are they a meta choice or has it just been a long time since a restock? Saw a NiB set going for $200 on eBay.

Is there a way to just build 10 boyz? Cause I’m planning on getting 2 boxes to add to the Orks in the launch set. I’ve check the instructions but there’s no option to make the nob into a boy.

I just bought the armageddon box and the first mini I made was the Ork Warboos. NO, I know absolutle NOTHING about ork, but IO thought this could be a good oportunitty to .. i don't now, may be play casual with my son, being me an ork or he. My primary army will probably be spaces marines, but I'm still learning to play (I havent played a single game yet) But i bought a couple of more space marines boxes.

Now I want to buy thje Ork Codex next and maybe the cards. But again, I am no ork player (but that coudl change, you know).

'ello ladz! Recently I decided to get into the tabletop by building an Ork army. I ordered and got a box of Stormboyz and am very excited to put them together and paint them.

The thing is I cannot wrap my head around the instructions about the rockets and I am afraid of messing things up by experimenting. If you have made Stormboyz yourselves can you give me some pointers? Maybe some combinations of pieces? I expected them to be numbered on the frame and the booklet but they weren't. It will probably be very obvious but I cannot grasp it right now lol.

Hey there, dark angels player here, helping my partner with their list.

In the official app it's allowing me to attach both the beast boss and the pain boss to a single unit of snagga Boyz, but in new recruit it throws an error saying the max amount of leaders are assigned to the unit. Initial reaction is that new recruit would be incorrect and it's a bug, but both beast boss and painboss are marked as a leader, not support, meaning the GW app is wrong

Can someone give some insight?

I bought two copies of the Ork half of Armageddon, and this I have two wartrakks that I don't really want to use. Has anyone tried to make a trukk out of Wartrakks? I thing the trukk's length will be achievable, but I am concerned about width/height

I want a big centerpiece kinda thing but I don’t know what to get. The wagons and rigs look very cool but the gorka/morkanaut look very cool too. the stompa is also there but from what I hear it’s pretty bad in game. Any recommendations?

Alroight boyz! Level with me because maybe I just don't understand. A lot of people are saying Flash Gitz with their cutta profile will make for good anti-tank but I don't understand how. The AP and damage is... ok I suppose (rolled damage is never reliable), but at one shot, hitting on 4's, hazardous, AND mostly wounding tanks on 5+ still (As most are T10+), I'm not sure why I just wouldn't use a busta rokkit instead. What am I legitimately missing?

Im a new Ork player and ive got a question about the ammo runts

From what i saw of the new nobz in the codex leaks, it seems like you could use more than one ammo runt for the squad. However there is only one model in the kit?

What is the official expectation from GW about this? How would I go about getting more, do you guys kitbash them?

With centurions going to legends I think we might be able to pick some up cheap. What would you use the centurions to kit bash as?

1 is the gretchin mechanik he makes their shootas and choppas. He also made himself a makeshift welding mask from a dead beakies shoulder pad.

2 eye fell out and he had it replaced with a robot one, but he realised he kinda looks like his idol bale eye so he got a powerclaw of one of them metal legs and attached it to his wrist.

3 is the most dakka gretchin eva.

4 attached a knife to his grot blasta because he saw a humie do it and thought it was cool.

5 always makes sure he has enough dakka by looting everything of the floor after a waagh.

6 is the boom gretchin. He shoots the grenades on his back out of his blunderbuss for maximum dakka.

7 (anti backstab alex) watched his ork buddy get snuck up on and krumped by his archenemies, a humie called backstab billy. He strapped a wood plank to his back so he could protect himself from and krump billy if they ever met again.

8 is a scary gretchin who wears an eyepatch to scare the humiez.

9 is a gretchin who survived the waagh on armageddon and ran away, he wears sand protective clothing to remember the desert planet.

10 found out that if your choppa is longer he can krump humiez without humiez getting close enough to krump him.

Given that the new MFM came out less than two weeks before the release of the Codex, has it been confirmed that points will be changing again and that the points in the Codex will be correct?

Trying to update my list with the changes to Detachments and Character (Boy howdy, are a lot of them getting dropped) abilities, and wondering if I should just assume the Codex points will be correct too.

I’m brand new to da green tide and just finished paintin' my very first git from the Ork Boyz Box!

I tried da slapchop trick da humies talk about, but I forgot to thin down da green Ork Skin speed paint. It went on thick and now he looks way too dark. It went all downhill from dere, but I'm still redy to learn!

Any wise Warbosses got some good lookin' video guides or tips on how to do betta boyz?

I have a 3D filament printer and I seen this company doing amazing models but I don’t think it is gw friendly but for a orks player who doesn’t have a lot of money and don’t really care about going to code about real models

Painting my killa kans and for the checker pattern I decided to use a fine tip permanent marker fine liner. It went 10x better than my previous attempts with a paint brush...

What's the verdict?

I pencil in the rough pattern and then just fine line it...

He’s finally ready (need to add a few things to the base) for the table this weekend with the drop of the new codex, however, my friend who’s new to the hobby wants to fight my custodes this time so my big yellow Ghaz will have to wait a week more!!
