Add a link to your build

It seems some people just take screenshots of the pcpartpicker list. While this is fine can we also include a link please.

For people who genuinely don't know how to copy a pcpartpicker list links:
On mobile:

If you click the two squares that are overlapping (the part circled) that copies the link to clipboard.

For PC:

If you click the two squares that are overlapping (the part circled) that copies the link.

How to paste in a pcpartpicker list Markup (basically a table):
On Mobile:

Where it says markup click the reddit icon (the part circled).

It will take you to this screen from here just copy it to clipboard and paste into reddit, just make sure the reddit icon has the blue circle fill (as seen above in the circled part).

For PC:

Where it says markup click the reddit icon (the part circled).

It will take you to this screen from here just copy and paste it into reddit, just make sure the reddit icon has the blue circle fill (as seen above in the circled part).

You should end up with something like this, make sure your comment or post is in markdown mode when doing this (I think mobile has markdown mode enabled by default).

To enter markdown mode on PC if you are on the rich text editor click the 3 dots (the part circled) and click switch to markdown then paste.

Can we please make sure there is link to your pcpartpicker build from now on, if you are unsure about something leave a comment here. Thanks

Dont any of you ever think that its wierd that usually some parts that say dont fit in a case fits? For example: Thermaltake Tower 200 and the PNY XLR8 4090. It says it will not fit but in my case it did. So as with MATX MBs i have one in my Tower 200.

Helping friend pick parts for an am4 build when they already have ram

Thumbnail pcpartpicker.com
1 Upvotes

Hey! So I am helping a friend create an am4 build because she already owns 2x16gb of ddr4 ram, probably going to take the old Sata SSD from her old computer aswell, and I am pretty new to pc building/picking parts. The PC is mainly going to be used for 1080p and multitasking with Discord, Netflix, etc.

What is your all's opinion on this build then? Or honestly any recommendations for a build under 800 (the lower the better).

Thanks for any help!

Can someone help me improve this build budget wise without sacrificing performance? https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/domsicols/saved/#view=Zms2bv

Its going to be my first gaming PC so I want it a bit special. Will be using mainly for gaming and I am planning to buy everything next week. I have bought an oled 240hz monitor to pair with my gaming pc which I am currently using on my ps5 while waiting. I am from UK currently. Max budget is £3000 but obviously if it would be lesser the better. Thanks in advance. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/domsicols/saved/#view=Zms2bv

Thoughts on this for a Plex server?

The 22tb and 14tb hdds are both Seagate external hard drives but I think I can shuck them and throw them in this build.

I got the RAM and CPU and 1tb SSD already too. I'm currently running my Plex server and a Minecraft server on a 2014 HP envy laptop with a 7500u and 16gb RAM. It's good enough but barely and the whole Plex corner is just a mess of cables and bullshit so I want to make a nice looking simple low power server.

Need Help

Hi,
This is my first time building a pc (so sorry if I’m a bit unaware) I will need a pc that can code and run some basic games (like fc26, gta 5, Fortnite Minecraft) and some coding.
My budget is 800€ (from Germany) and I’m asking because AI isn’t helping me and I hope some of you may help me.
Thank you in advance!

Parts to minimize 1% lows

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cLkXYX

There are the parts I am interested in ,

CPU

-9600x
-7600x3d
-7800x3d

I’m not huge on performance in the sense I wanna see crazy high fps, I really just want reliable smooth fps that will look nice on a nice panel 1080 or 1440p panel, playing casual games like Minecraft (potentially w shaders), valorant, rust, cod zombies, sea of thieves, and also few vr games.

If there is a combo here you reccomend let me know ! Also if you know anything about cooling for these cpus let me know what I should know.
