Debt to EW from restructuring.

I have 2 restructurings with EW, one for 5k and one for 8k, I thought I could pay both. But in the end, I can't pay the 8k. I'm talking to them to see if I can restructure it again. But they're still hounding me. I totally drained my savings since I gave birth and then the baby got sick. How about some help?

500K+ ACCUMULATED DEBTS - Advice Needed

Post image
40 Upvotes

Hello,

I need your advice. I don't plan to OD on my loans, but it seems like I no longer have a choice but to let some of them become overdue. 😭 I don't think I can continue with the TAPAL system anymore. It has led me to borrow from other loan apps that I didn't originally have.

Originally, I only had Billease, Tala, and JuanHand. This started in 2022 after we invested in a crypto scam. Then it was one problem after another, and on top of that, I was introduced to gambling sites. I admit that I became addicted and let things get out of hand.

I was trying to manage my addiction while also dealing with my family's needs because I felt like whenever they asked for something, I was obliged to provide for them. So I would take out loans, send the money to them, and use the rest for gambling. Sometimes I won, but countless times I lost, which only led to more stress and more problems.

I have already submitted my self-exclusion form for five years. I really have to put an end to this.

I have never had any loans become overdue before, but this month has been extremely difficult. We had to pay loans that were made by our relatives, and I have already sold almost anything I could sell just to make amends.

My relatives might think that I'm still okay, but I'm actually really struggling right now.

I am planning to stop the TAPAL system, but I'm afraid they might visit my address, which is actually my sibling's address. With UNO, I have sent them multiple SMS messages and emails asking them to restructure my loan, but I haven't received a single reply from them.

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I've always been that way unless they text me first.

I want to continue using my credit cards: BPI, Metrobank, UnionBank, and maybe Atome. I'll find a way to manage them. I just converted one of them to a six-month installment plan and have already made my first payment.

My priority is paying the GLoan under my relative's account. I don't want her credit score to be damaged because of that loan. Technically, it was my loan, but I took it out for another family member, so it wasn't entirely for myself.

My biggest concern is the newer online lending apps. I don't know if they will harass me, contact people I know, or even go to my workplace. I'm overthinking a lot right now, and honestly, I'm scared of what might happen.

I might have to give up Tala and JuanHand because I can no longer afford them. I also shared my work email with JuanHand, so I don't know what they might do with that information.

For context, I only earn around ₱30K+ a month.

For the debts I owe to actual people, I already have a plan and I will do everything I can to pay them. I'd rather let go of these online lending apps and deal with those debts than have people I personally know suffer because of money I owe them.

With my salary, I know it'll be too difficult to manage paying the GLOAN, BPI, Billease and Atome monthly if I chose to keep paying these 4 especially the first two.

I know this is a lot, but I would really appreciate your advice on what I should prioritize and what I should do next. Note that I don't plan on not paying them, I just want to be able to save then pay once I have the money. Although if I keep paying BPI, I would never save anything but they have my sibling's number and they had called in the past. Should I give up BPI too and just focus on my priority (Gloan) and the CCs that doesn't have interests? Should I uninstalled the online apps? I had good credit standing which is why I got to apply from multiple lending apps but I can't get approved anymore with other online apps.

The reason I'm scared of paying the newer lending apps is because my system has always been "pay, then reloan." If I pay them and they don't allow me to reloan anymore, I will really be screwed because I won't have enough money to cover everything else.

I'm sorry this is so long but thank you for those who would give me kind and good advice.

I built a free offline-first expense tracker & group bill splitter (Zodipals)

Post image

It started with a simple problem: managing shared family expenses, tracking bills, and splitting costs with friends without dealing with clunky spreadsheets or losing track of receipts.

What started as a tool I built for myself and my family turned into Zodipals, and I added a cosmic zodiac twist to make finance tracking feel a lot more fun and less stressful.

What you can do with it:

  • 100% Offline-First Daily Expenses & Group Tabs: Log expenses, split trip costs, and check balances with zero signal or in airplane mode—automatically syncs when back online.
  • Smart Bill Splitting & Receipts: Split dining tabs and group costs in seconds with photo receipts and debt simplification.
  • Household & Roommate Bills: Track shared utilities cleanly with AI bill parsing and carry-over credits.
  • Safe-to-Spend Daily Gauge: Keep personal spending in check with Need vs. Want tagging and a dynamic daily allowance.
  • Peer Loans & IOUs: Track money lent or borrowed with clear payback schedules and payment proofs.
  • All-in-One Net Worth Hub: Manage bank accounts, GCash, Maya, cash, personal insurance, and recurring subscriptions in one place.
  • Cosmic AI & Daily Vibes: Chat with an AI assistant that answers questions using your live financial data, plus check your daily horoscope, lucky numbers, and money vibes.
  • Real-Time Sync: Keep everyone in your circle on the exact same page across mobile and web.

Works on Web & Mobile (PWA): It is completely free to use with zero ads. You can open it directly in your browser or install it on iOS, Android, or Desktop via the "Install App" prompt on the site.

If you have an upcoming trip, dinner with friends, or shared apartment bills, I'd love for you to give it a spin. Any honest feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas in the comments or DMs are super appreciated!

ESALAD auto deduction

Hi, I have an active eSALAD loan from Security Bank, which I started before my maternity leave. I haven’t been able to make payments since then, and my bank account has already become negative because of the deductions.

I’m worried that when I return to work, my entire salary might be deducted to cover the outstanding balance. Is there any way to stop or prevent the deductions from taking my whole salary? I’d really appreciate any advice on what I can do.

Can Maya Easy Credit still be changed?

I am currently unemployed and just resigned from work 4 months ago. Apparently, some emergencies happened and is needing to loan to pay next next month's bills until I get myself back on feet and be able to have salary again.

I am currently offered with 10k sa MEC and has 7.5k sa Savings ko in Maya. However, that 7.5k will be drained once I paid my bills for next month.

Can that 10k offer still be changed or will it stay even if mawalan ng laman Maya Wallet/Savings ko?
