Dogs dumped at Bang Wad Dam yesterday.

These 3 dogs were dumped at Bang Wad dam Kathu yesterday morning 31/08/26.

We assisted Soi Dog to catch two around 8pm but one more timid and scared dog escaped and was no longer there when we tried to find him/her the next morning.

So if these dogs were under your care and you dumped them here shame on you.

If these dogs were under your care and you managed to somehow lose 3 slow old dogs at Bang Wad, also shame on you.

The 2 caught are currently in the medical area at Soi Dog while they make the plan of what to do next with them.

If you see the 3rd missing one around (standing at the back in the road photo) please comment here so we can try to reunite them with their 2 friends.

Recommendation Thailand itinerary advice for early october

Hi guys, I am planning a Thailand trip for 5 friends (25–30) from 1–11 Oct 2026 from IndiaMy girlfriend and I reach Bangkok on 1st evening, the other 3 reach BKK early on 3rd, and after that we’ll stay together.

Current plan:

Bangkok: 1–4 Oct
4 Oct night: overnight train south
Krabi: 5–7 Oct
Phuket: 7–11 Oct

We like beaches, food, nightlife, adventure and scenic places, and want to keep it comfortable but not luxury.

Does this route and night split make sense for early October weather? Also, are Asok, Ao Nang and Patong the best areas to stay, or would you change anything? Please help a brother out with all your suggestions and reccos

Hey Guys, I just wanted to ask for help about a certain Shopee store that sells Movie Collectibles from Thai Cinemas like SF Cinema and Cineplex.
I reside in Malaysia and I am a big fan of movie collectibles and have been buying a bit of stuff from this Shopee store. I just wanted to confirm from people who live in Thailand if this store actually sells legit stuff. It's pretty highly rated but just wanted to confirm. Thank you, any help would be appreciated

Recommendation Phuket/Krabi trip safe in September?

I have booked phuket trip with my family with a 2 year old and my senior citizen parents(in their 60s and active) in mid September, 2026 for a week. We have planned for PhiPhi islands and 4 island tour also. Is it a good choice, trip advisor keeps tells it is a good time to travel and seas will not be rough. I’m planning to reschedule it to early November, to would it be a safe time with calm seas?

Question [28M] Saudi looking for a travel buddy to Phuket, Thailand (November 2026)

Hey everyone,
I'm a 28-year-old guy from Saudi Arabia planning a trip to Phuket this November. I don't have any friends to travel with this time around, so I'm looking to connect with a cool travel buddy (or a small group) ahead of time so we can chat, plan out an itinerary, and explore the island together!

A bit about me and my interests:

***Fitnes**s: I love hitting the gym and staying active.
Definitely down to check out some cool local gyms or Muay Thai training camps while there.
Tech & Gaming: Big into PC gaming and tech.

Music & Party: I enjoy a good nightlife scene, beach clubs, and partying. I definitely want to experience the high energy of Patong and the nightlife spots.

Chill Vibes: While I love high-energy nights, l also really enjoy relaxing, watching beautiful sunsets on the beach, and exploring the culture and nature around the island.

My Plan:
I'm looking to head out in November 2026. I'm super flexible on the exact dates and the daily itinerary. I want a mix of party nights, day-time beach exploration, and maybe some island hopping.

Who I'm looking for:
Anyone (male or female) around a similar age who matches this vibe! Whether you want to co-plan the entire trip, share accommodation costs, or just meet up for a few specific days to party and explore, let me know.

Unique Reccomendations

Hi!

I’m taking my best friend to Phuket at the start of November this year - this will be the furthest he has ever travelled (we’re from scotland) and the biggest culture shock he will experience to date, I want to make it extra special for him!!!

This will be my 4th time in Phuket so I have done most of the usual touristy things. I have selected a few that I know he will enjoy but I just wondered if there are any cool / unique things we could do or visit or stay that would be the cherry on top for the trip? I’m thinking something along the lines of perhaps something you can only really see / experience in Phuket or something that you can say to people ‘guess what we did’ or ‘guess where we went’😂

For context, we are 26 years old, love partying, love getting in to random, hilarious situations & overall mayhem if that helps!

Cheers!

Question Party catamaran recommendations

Hey guys! We’re a group of 4 and will be in Phuket from September 14th to 19th. We’re thinking of doing a catamaran trip to one of the islands around Phuket.
Ideally, we’re looking for something with a DJ, good music, drinks, a fun party vibe, and a sunset party.
Any recommendations for a good tour/company? We’re open to different islands and options.

Question Travel question, looking for private driver for longer than normal excursion

Sorry for the travel related question, but first time really travelling ... Have planned a tight schedule and hoping to see some sites. Usually I stick with excursions booked through the hotel, but this time the plan is to do some sites that dont fit into a normal packaged trip. Also hoping to change it up a bit and do some trips that are longer than 8 hours. I am not looking to be cheap, but more looking for fair and trustable. Ive been considering this partially because I land so early and hotel check in is at 2 and also because I only really have the half day I land + the next day as a full day.

Schedule I am hoping for:

Have someone meet me at the airport morning landing time (probably 9 / 10 am), take me to a few spots (probably 3 - 4 hour round trip driving, not including time spent at the place), then drive me to the hotel. Not much luggage, but there will be a bag of clothes at least.

Then the next day do a longer trip 10-12 hours driving according to google with 4 ish stops not counting the time at each place ...

Is this something I am crazy thinking is feasible? I have googled and I know I can use the Gab app, but I am a bit concerned about distances, time inbeween while I explore some sites... I did google private drivers / excursions but I the reviews are so all over the place I am not quite sure I trust them.

Thank you anyone that has any guidance / advice / comments

The greatest hiking experience near patong and chalong (its okay If farther)

Me and my girlfriend are going to phuekt in 2 weeks and we have been looking everywhere for a proper hiking trail but all of them seemed generic and touristyish or just simply far too short

Definitely were thinking of a 4 to 5.5 hour hike and maybe with a peak view of nature and maybe if there are monuments or statues on the way that'd be appreciated

(BTW we are quite skilled at hiking so no need to hold back)

Hit Car Scam, anyone encountered it?

I rented a small car in phuket for 4days, on the third night. I was driving back to my hotel to park and turned to a tight parking space. I was closer to the car on the left when I turned in and I heard a very loud "bang", I didn't think much of it as my car was near hitting anything, I carefully navigated into the parking lot to drop my wife off. My car is a small car and still have decent space on left and right.

As I was heading out, a man stop me claiming a loud "bang" and I hit his car, I was very very sure I didn't as I was no where near his car when I turned in, his car was on the right and he ask me to get come down and see. I got off and he was inspecting his car, I saw no damage, then I saw 2 lines on the right side of my car, which was weird. I was very furious of him accusing me and he mentioned to review video footage. I asked him to show since I am 100% sure I didn't hit him, I shouted at him later to go police. I shouted at him not to waste my time and drove off after, what I didn't do was take a photo of his car

Only later when I went off and parked, I recalled and remembered his car was parked out of the parking lot intentionally, the 2 lines I used my saliva and it was actually chalk and that whole incident was a scam.

I was very lucky not to fall for it as I was 100% sure I didn't hit his car, as I was closer to the left car when I turned head in and very slowly.
