Game title: Slopcheck

Playable Link: www.slopcheck.co

Platform: Web game

Description: Slopcheck is a daily game where you get 6 photos (one at a time) and determine if each are real or AI generated. After each one you see the clues that give it away so you can get better at spotting AI generated media on your own.

Free to Play Status: Free to play

Involvement: All developed by me

Hi everyone! I made this game as a passion project because I’m a big fan of [r/IsThisAI](r/IsThisAI) and sadly have gotten tricked by AI images in the past. I built this as a way to help people hopefully get better at detecting fake images on their own.

Grateful for any and all feedback ✨

**EDIT: to be clear, I made this game to increase awareness of how good the models are getting now and have people get better at spotting AI media by themselves. I am not using it to train models/otherwise contribute to people getting scammed by fake images.

Decisions have been made...our new AI policy.

Top mod and I have finally decided on some things and, well, it may upset a lot of people - and we understand why.

AI has been running rife in this group as we all know, and we've leaned slightly towards the "low AI side" while we worked out what the hell we'll allow or not allow and why, so we can actually moderate it fairly and with actual trainability.

And as we have been, and after studying what the other gametest groups are doing - it's pretty much clear what we have to do. Allow all AI.

Here's the issue: We're no longer fighting something that with good rules and moderation would settle into a rhythm eventually.

The right wording of the rules saying "No AI" as strongly as possible, the right requirements, AI spam hunters - it doesn't matter how much we implement, what tools and automod and AI-catching-training we would do with everyone. AI is getting to be too good and people will (and have been) lying to get their game through barriers, borders, and hunters. With some of my other reddit groups, breakouts of this or that "major" problem is normal and can over time calm down and be moderated out. But this?

...It's going to burn us all out if we keep moderating the way we are. This isn't a typhoon, nor a tidal wave. Not a war that can be fought with enough people, armor, and bullets.

It's trying to keep the rising ocean out of a city with only a few buckets. (aka moderators)

Seven buckets, 20 buckets, 50 buckets and wallbreaks with the most advanced towers on the planet - it doesn't matter, the water is still rising and there is no stopping this particular change in society without severe burnout of all the mods (me very much included in that!)

So instead of fighting the planet, the only way is to let it come and adjust things so the community self-polices, not with removals, but with pure spite. BUT we have to keep it Reddit-Mod Code of Conduct-aligned as well, and moderate certain things of course. Like extreme hate is obviously not cool Reddit-wide.

NEW RULE: No false claims about your game.

  • If you explicitly state something untrue ("100% hand-painted art" when it's Midjourney, "original soundtrack" when it's AI-generated), that's removable. But silence is fine. No one is required to disclose anything (for the moment, this might need to change if I'm projecting things right.)

NEW RULE: No AI culture wars.

  • Comments about gameplay experience: always allowed ("the voices sounded robotic," "art style felt generic," "really fun mechanic")
  • Comments attacking the developer over AI use: removed ("you're not a real developer," "AI slop trash," "you're ruining the industry")
  • Comments debating whether AI should exist: removed (take it to another sub)

--

Other Mod Policy Changes: No on Game Collections (Ex: Come play my 50+ games on my website!) and Yes on Tool Testing if its related to games; Like game making or like a heavily, heavily gamified app. It should be really be more game than tool, not just a stock app with leaderboard or cute character encouraging/informing people on self-care.

We are sorry that we are giving up on the fight against AI. It's either this, or shut down the group because not a single person on this planet can dedicate the time to evaluating *every single game* to find hints of deeply embedded AI. Or investigate all accusations with or without merit. Or know of all the AI things people use to make games, assets, music! That's not what any of us signed up for - we are here only to help devs connect with playtesters.

If you do not wish to playtest the games with AI - absolutely fine. We're afraid we're going to have to let you determine what is playtest-worthy or not from here.

[PC] (Web) I made Lily Hop — a one-button frog hopper

Game Title: Lily Hop

Playable Link: https://www.crazygames.com/game/lily-hop

Platform: Web / HTML5 (desktop and mobile browser)

Description: Lily Hop is a one-button arcade jumper about a small frog crossing a moonlit pond. You hold to charge a hop, release to leap, and try to land dead-center on the next lily pad. A centered landing is a PERFECT and grows a combo multiplier; a sloppy landing resets it. The pads drift, shrink, and get farther apart, so the run is about timing more than twitch speed. I built it as a short session browser game: no download, no account, one input. The loop is meant to be readable in the first five seconds and still tense after a minute. If you bounce, you can restart immediately. I would love feedback on whether the charge window feels fair, whether PERFECT landings are readable, and whether the difficulty ramp is too steep after the first dozen pads.

General Game Title: Cosmic Idle RPG

Upvotes

Playable Link: (Direct link to the game)

Platform: Discord (no download)

Description: Melvor Idle meets Albion Online - inside Discord.

Cosmic Idle RPG is a free single-player idle RPG played through one Discord message with buttons and menus, not a pile of slash commands. Add the app, type `/start-game`, and you're in. No download required.

You start on a fogged hex map. Reveal new plots, send your crew on timed gathering jobs for wood, stone, and other resources, then process what you gather and use it to craft gear and expand your basement and backyard base.

Level your skills, improve your gear, and build your crew so you can get more work done at once. Jobs keep running while you're away - come back, claim the results, and set up the next loop.

There's a Getting Started path that walks you through the first progression loop, plus Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Quests for players who want more goals to chase.

The game is currently in **PreSeason**. Progress will reset when Season 1 begins.

I'm mainly looking for feedback on the first few minutes after install, whether the map → gather → base progression feels too slow or throws too much at you at once, and anything that feels confusing, frustrating, or broken.

[PC] (Windows) Made a Brotato-style survivor game solo — has an over-the-top "kill everything" ultimate, would love feedback

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

Hey! Been building this solo — it's a top-down survivor/roguelite (Brotato / Vampire Survivors style): pick a character, waves of enemies scaling up, weapons auto-fire, level up mid-run, spend coins in a shop between waves, unlock new characters/weapons over time with a separate currency.

The part I'm most proud of: fill up a meter from kills and it triggers an ultimate — the screen freezes, a voice line plays, then you go invincible while a huge wave of enemies swarms in for a few seconds of pure chaos. Really satisfying once it kicks in.

Playable Link: https://kaelrick.itch.io/pixel-survivors (free to play in-browser, no download)

Would genuinely appreciate feedback — what's fun, what's confusing, what's missing. Especially the first few waves, since that's what most people will actually see before deciding whether to keep playing.

Play it here: https://spiced.gg/games/glyph-weaver

Free, runs in the browser, no account or download needed. I'm the solo developer on this one. I did the design, the code, the scoring system and the dictionary work.

What it is: a daily word game that's about placement and scoring rather than guessing. Closer to a solitaire crossword than to Wordle.

You get a 9x9 grid, a rack of seven tiles, and twelve turns. You build words across and down, like Scrabble against yourself. Green dots multiply a letter, purple diamonds multiply the whole word. Everyone playing that day gets the same board and the same tile bag, so the daily and all time leaderboards are fair.

The twist is gold. You earn it by covering gold squares, by using J, Q, X or Z, and by playing words of seven letters or more. You spend it mid-run on upgrades that change the board: turn an empty square gold, swap your whole rack, hold an eighth tile, or double what gold squares pay. Two of those are repeatable, two are one-time only.

That's the part I'm least sure about. Adding a currency to a word game risks turning it into a farming exercise where the words stop mattering and you're just hunting gold squares. I tried to tie every gold source to something that's already good word play, but I've been staring at it too long to judge.

Dictionary is ENABLE plus SCOWL, around 110,000 words, so it handles plurals, past tenses and reasonably modern vocabulary. Fully keyboard playable: type to place, arrows to move, Tab to flip direction, Enter to score. Mouse and touch also work and it is optimized for mobile.

There's a practice board that's always up and never ranked if you want to poke at it without burning your daily run.

AI Disclosure: Cover Images/Hero and Code are AI Generated.

What I'd find most useful to hear:

  1. Does the shop feel like it adds a decision or like a distraction from the words?

  2. Is twelve turns too many, too few, or about right?

  3. Did the board make sense without you reading instructions first?

Happy to answer anything in the comments.

[PC] (Web) I made a free browser mystery with guided and all-open evidence modes

Upvotes

Hi, I'm the developer of Clues & Lies, a free browser deduction game.

You read verified records and character testimony, then decide who is benign or malevolent. Benign characters tell the truth. Malevolent characters lie. The game only accepts a verdict when the evidence on screen proves it.

I added two ways to play. Progressive starts with a smaller evidence packet and can reveal more after a correct judgment. All open shows the full case from the start.

I've played these cases too many times to judge the first few minutes well. I'm trying to answer two things:

  1. Does Progressive make the case easier to read, or does it feel restrictive?

  2. Did you notice All open? When would you choose it instead?

Playable Link: https://clues.goodthing.app/play

It works on desktop and mobile, and it doesn't need an account. I built the site and case tools, and I play and edit each case before publishing it. If you get stuck, tell me where you paused. A screenshot would help too.

I've built a competitive puzzel app, keen to get any feedback. Currently available on web (link below) and iOS. Currently in closed testing in Android (PM if you'd like to be added)

Game Title: puzil.io

Playable Link: Web - https://puzil-app.vercel.app

App Store - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/puzil/id6769885217

Platform: Web (also on iOS via TestFlight beta and Android via Play Store closed testing)

Description:

puzil.io is a daily brain-training game with a shared monthly leaderboard. Four times a day — morning, afternoon, evening, and night — a fresh puzzle unlocks. Each session pulls from a rotating pool of 16 short challenges: Word Challenge (a Wordle-style game with 5- and 6-letter words), Memory Match, Pattern Matrix, Number Sequence, Symbol Cipher, Rhyme Time, Speed Sort, Anagram Sprint, Time Guess, Odd One Out, Follow the Ball, Colour Match, Speed Sum, Tile Slide, Number Match, and Block Drop. Every puzzle is designed to take 30–60 seconds and scores by time remaining, so being quick and accurate matters. Retry within the slot's window to climb the per-slot leaderboard. Start private leagues with friends — from 10-minute sprints to week-long tournaments — with configurable "top N puzzles per day count" scoring rules. Training mode gives you unlimited replays. Free to play, no ads, no in-app purchases.

Trailer Tuesday [TT] LANDFALL — this storm hit 321 MPH (real meteorology, not a scripted number)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Game Title: LANDFALL

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=feich13.landfall.aab

Platform: Android (flair added after posting)

Description: LANDFALL is a hurricane, typhoon, and cyclone simulator where real meteorological data drives every storm, rather than a scripted difficulty curve.

You draw a storm's track by hand and manage its actual atmospheric environment — sea surface temperature, wind shear, ocean depth, and basin-specific climatology

all genuinely determine how much it intensifies.

A recent test run produced a

321 MPH storm purely from the model itself, not a capped or scripted number.

The game covers five real ocean basins, each with its own climatology and storm behavior, so a system forming in the Western Pacific genuinely behaves differently from one in the Atlantic.

Storms can also merge into a single, stronger system if

they drift close enough together. There's a full power-up progression system built around a lifetime currency earned through play, not real-money purchases.

LANDFALL is a one-time $1.39 purchase — no ads, no microtransactions, and no paywalls beyond the initial purchase. It was built solo, alongside a full-time job,

over several months.

I'm genuinely most curious whether the core loop — drawing a track and reading the

storm's environment — is clear within the first minute or two, since that's the

part I have the least outside perspective on.

Free to Play Status: [X] Paid (Tuesday, [TT] in title)

Involvement: Solo developer — built, coded, and published the entire game myself.

[PC] (Web) Deuteria - a free browser-based space strategy MMO. No download, no client, and a brand new universe just opened.

Game Title: Deuteria

Playable Link: https://deuteria.net

Platform: Browser (PC Web) — no download, no client

Description: Deuteria is a persistent space strategy MMO that runs entirely in the browser. You mine three resources, build up a homeworld, colonise new planets, research a large tech tree, send expeditions into deep space, and eventually fight other players over all of it. Everything runs on real-time build queues, so it plays in short bursts across a day rather than in long sessions.

What I've changed from the genre's usual shape:

  • 100x economy speed. The numbers get genuinely large — fleets run into the trillions of ships, and I rewrote the battle engine in Rust specifically so it stays accurate at that scale instead of silently overflowing.
  • Four lifeform races per planet, each with its own population and food economy layered on top of the normal resource game.
  • An account-wide talent tree that spans every planet you own.
  • Expeditions that scale their payout to the fleet value you actually commit, rather than rolling on a fixed loot table.
  • Around 100 autonomous AI empires living in the galaxy alongside real players. They build, raid, form alliances and declare wars on their own, so the map is never empty — even on day one of a fresh universe.
  • Alliance wars, shared treasuries, governance voting and non-aggression pacts.

A brand new permanent universe opened this morning, so anyone starting now starts level with everyone else. Available in seven languages.

Free to Play Status: * [x] Free to play * [ ] Demo/Key available * [ ] Paid

Involvement: Solo developer. I built it over the last two months on top of an open-source engine, and I've written or rewritten essentially all of the gameplay systems described above — economy, combat engine, expeditions, lifeforms, alliances and the AI empires.

AI disclosure: Some in-game art (shop icons, lifeform tech icons, alien ship art) was generated with Grok and hand-curated. Other art is procedurally generated by my own Python scripts (alliance banners, favicon, hero background, moon icons). The remaining engine art is inherited from the upstream open-source project this forks. Code is hand-written with AI assistance.

Game Title: Tile Wars
Playable Link: https://tilewars.online
Platform: Browser (desktop and mobile)
Description:

Tile Wars is a turn-based tactics game that runs in the browser. You draft five creatures from three decks (two heavy, two mid, one light), place them on an 18x11 grid, and fight either another player or the AI.

The whole game lives in the mechanics. Creatures apply root, slow, silence, fear, burn, poison, petrify and drunk, and drunk is my favourite: you move one square per click and half your steps stagger off sideways. Turn order is fixed by initiative at the start of the match, so who moves next is something you plan around rather than something you hope for. Terrain matters too. Water blocks, fire keeps burning the ground you crossed, and about a third of maps carry a chest that arms on first blood and pays out either a rune or a trap.

There are over 200 creatures and no card is safe. Where you stand and who moves next settle far more fights than raw damage does. Matches run one to two minutes, and PvP turns sit on a 20 second clock, so it is closer to deciding fast than to pondering.

Four languages, no download, and no account needed if you just want to try it.

Free to Play Status:
- [x] Free to play
- [ ] Demo/Key available
- [ ] Paid

Nothing is purchasable with real money. Cards are unlocked by playing, and owning more only widens the pool you draft from, it never gives you a stronger warband.

Involvement: Solo developer. I wrote all of it: the engine, the server, the AI, the balance tooling, the
interface and the four translations.

[PC] (Web) I made a free 2D parkour game with a level editor, looking for people to try it

Title: I made a 2D parkour game with a full level editor, looking for people to try it

Game Title: dParkour

Playable Link: https://dparkour.web.app

Platform: Web / Browser

Description:

I've been building this solo for a while and I'd love to get some actual players on it :)

dParkour is a 2D parkour platformer focused on fast movement. You can wall jump, hit bounce pads, ride wind zones, jump between moving platforms and chain everything together to get through levels as fast as possible. It starts pretty simple, but once you get used to the movement you can get surprisingly fast with it.

The part I've probably spent way too much time on is the level editor. You can build your own parkour maps, test them instantly and publish them for other people to play. No coding or anything like that.

I'd really appreciate feedback on how the movement feels and whether the editor is intuitive when you first open it. If something feels bad, confusing or you manage to completely break something, please tell me lol.

And if you make a level, send it to me. I really want to see what people come up with.
