[PC] (Windows) I built a free, modern GUI to play Magic the gathering all formats against Forge's AI — all 33,000 cards, no login, 10 languages

Game Title:
Neo Forge

Playable Link:
https://dokkodolabs.itch.io/neo-forge

Platform:
Windows PC

Description:
Neo Forge is a free, fan-made digital Magic: The Gathering experience built on top of the open-source Forge rules engine. I wanted to take Forge's powerful rules engine, card database and AI and build a completely new interface around it that feels closer to a modern digital card game.

The main focus is Commander, supporting both 1v1 games and up to 4-player free-for-all matches, with a full deck builder and Moxfield deck import. The battlefield features drag & drop interactions, clearer targeting, combat arrows and visual feedback designed to make playing feel more intuitive.

Beyond normal games, Neo Forge also includes an Adventure roguelite mode with different worlds, boosters and a bazaar, as well as Tournament brackets, Draft and Sealed.

The game supports 10 interface languages with localized card text, works completely offline, and is 100% free to play.

Neo Forge is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.

Free to Play Status:

  • Free to play
  • Demo/Key available
  • Paid (only if you want to donate to support the development)

Involvement:
I'm the developer behind Neo Forge. I designed and developed the new interface and gameplay experience, building it on top of the existing open-source Forge engine. The goal was to create a more modern, polished and accessible way to play Forge while keeping the powerful rules engine underneath.

Game Title: Battle of Folks

Playable Link: Apple | Android

Platform:  Mobile | Mac

Description: It's a medieval isometric pixel-art wave-defense RTS inspired by games like They Are Billions and Age of Darkness. You build and expand your settlement, gather and manage resources, construct defensive structures, train your army, and prepare for increasingly dangerous waves of enemies. Every decision matters as you try to balance economic growth with military strength. Expand your territory, develop your defenses, unlock new buildings and technologies, and create a powerful army capable of surviving the coming attacks. As the waves become stronger and more numerous, your settlement will be pushed to its limits. Plan your defenses carefully, adapt to different enemy threats, and fight to keep your kingdom alive for as long as possible.

[PC] (Windows) Harvest Exit Plan: the demo is out, and I would like feedback on the first twenty minutes

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5131940/Harvest_Exit_Plan/

Platform: PC (Windows), on Steam

Description: Your grandparents left you the orchard you spent every childhood summer resenting. The plan: collect every fruit, sell the place, never pick up an apple again. It holds for about twenty minutes. Then it fails, because you are having fun.

You walk a garden and pick fruit by hand, haul it to the cart when your basket fills, sell it, and spend the money on tools and upgrades that let you pick faster and carry more. Shake a tree and more fruit comes down. There are six gardens in the full game, each denser than the last, and a robot per garden that keeps collecting while you are somewhere else. Nothing here has a clock, a fail state or an enemy.

The demo is the first two gardens, about twenty-five minutes, and it does not lock you out at the end. Shake the trees and the fruit comes back, so it turns into a sandbox if you want to keep going.

Free to Play Status: - [ ] Free to play - [x] Demo/Key available - [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: Solo developed, I am the only person on it. Generative AI was used for parts of the game's 3D assets, voice and narration, ambient audio, translations, and store artwork. All generated content was reviewed and edited by hand. No AI is used at runtime. I could not afford to pay people for that work. Long term I want to pay 3D artists, voice actors and translators to replace it.

[PC] (Web) I built a strategy turn-based game and I need people to test the PvP

Game Title: Tile Wars
Playable Link: https://tilewars.online
Platform: Browser (desktop and mobile)
Description:

Tile Wars is a turn-based tactics game that runs in the browser. You draft five creatures from three decks (two heavy, two mid, one light), place them on an 18x11 grid, and fight either another player or the AI.

The whole game lives in the mechanics. Creatures apply root, slow, silence, fear, burn, poison, petrify and drunk, and drunk is my favourite: you move one square per click and half your steps stagger off sideways. Turn order is fixed by initiative at the start of the match, so who moves next is something you plan around rather than something you hope for. Terrain matters too. Water blocks, fire keeps burning the ground you crossed, and about a third of maps carry a chest that arms on first blood and pays out either a rune or a trap.

There are over 200 creatures and no card is safe. Where you stand and who moves next settle far more fights than raw damage does. Matches run one to two minutes, and PvP turns sit on a 20 second clock, so it is closer to deciding fast than to pondering.

Four languages, no download, and no account needed if you just want to try it.

Free to Play Status:
- [x] Free to play
- [ ] Demo/Key available
- [ ] Paid

Nothing is purchasable with real money. Cards are unlocked by playing, and owning more only widens the pool you draft from, it never gives you a stronger warband.

Involvement: Solo developer. I wrote all of it: the engine, the server, the AI, the balance tooling, the
interface and the four translations.

[PC] (Web) Megabonk inspired game "AshSpire", looking for some honest feedback

Thumbnail

Playable Link: https://games.hacketttech.com/

Description: A first person roguelite inspired by Megabonk and Vampire Survivors, with PS1 style graphics. Each level gives you 10 minutes to find and kill the boss. While the clock runs, waves of enemies pour in and drop XP, so you level up mid-run to grab items that change how the whole run plays.

It's still in alpha but there's a very playable version up. I've got a big list of things I want to add (more items, enemies, levels, characters, abilities), but before I go further I'd rather hear what people think, is there anything that isn't landing or that feels flat or lackluster.

Since it's alpha I'm not after bug reports, more just a vibe check on if the game feels fun.

Platform: Windows

Note: Trailer says early access at the end, I currently waiting for Steam to finish their review process before its live.

Game title: Solo BlackJack

Platform: web

Description:

Solo BlackJack is a simple, free browser blackjack game built for people who just want to play a few hands without ads, accounts, popups, casino promos, or unnecessary game mechanics. Everything uses play money only.

You can choose a starting bankroll, place chips, and play standard blackjack with Hit, Stand, Double Down, Split, natural blackjack payouts, and dealer rules. The game is designed to feel fast and polished on both desktop and mobile, with smooth card and chip animations and a clean, traditional blackjack-table look.

There’s no signup, download, progression system, multiplayer, or real-money gambling. It opens directly in your browser and is intentionally kept minimal.

[PC] (Web) I made a free 2D parkour game with a level editor, looking for people to try it

Title: I made a 2D parkour game with a full level editor, looking for people to try it

Game Title: dParkour

Playable Link: https://dparkour.web.app

Platform: Web / Browser

Description:

I've been building this solo for a while and I'd love to get some actual players on it :)

dParkour is a 2D parkour platformer focused on fast movement. You can wall jump, hit bounce pads, ride wind zones, jump between moving platforms and chain everything together to get through levels as fast as possible. It starts pretty simple, but once you get used to the movement you can get surprisingly fast with it.

The part I've probably spent way too much time on is the level editor. You can build your own parkour maps, test them instantly and publish them for other people to play. No coding or anything like that.

I'd really appreciate feedback on how the movement feels and whether the editor is intuitive when you first open it. If something feels bad, confusing or you manage to completely break something, please tell me lol.

And if you make a level, send it to me. I really want to see what people come up with.

[PC] (Web) I made a Murim idle game where you start by doing everything manually - then slowly automate your entire sect

Game Title: Patriarch: Murim Idle

Playable Link:

Platform: Web Browser / itch.io

Description:
Patriarch: Murim Idle is a free browser-based incremental game where you build and develop your own Murim cultivation sect. You begin with simple manual progression, gathering resources and slowly expanding your influence. As you progress, you can recruit disciples, assign them different roles, improve your sect, unlock new buildings and gradually automate many of the tasks you originally had to manage yourself.

The game currently includes disciple management, cultivation, expeditions, artifacts, bosses, sect progression, Murim events and multiple upgrade systems. My goal is to make the progression feel like you are slowly turning a small sect into a powerful organization that can operate on its own.

The game is still actively being developed, so feedback about the progression, balance, UI, automation and overall gameplay would be very helpful.

[Mobile] (Android) Made a rhythm-slicer where the levels are generated from the actual song's beat | Slash Sync [Free]

Game Title: Slash Sync

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pumpkineatergames.slashsync

Description: I had built this solo int the past and It's been a year I got it live on the Play Store, I wanted to share it here and get some real feedback so I could know what needs fixing. After publishing I didn't get the time to update it properly, now that I am free I could use your help to make it better.

The core idea: instead of hand-placing every beat in a level, I built a music-sync pipeline that extracts beat timing directly from a song's audio using STFT analysis in Python, then converts that timing data into Unity ScriptableObjects that drive the game. Object spawn timing and travel speed are generated from the actual track, not manually authored, so levels stay musically accurate without me sitting there placing notes one by one.

On top of that, the slicing itself is real-time: I use collision contact points to generate a cutting plane and dynamically create the sliced pieces, rather than faking it with pre-baked animations. There are 30 levels, a combo/scoring system, boosters, and unlockable slicer types.

This is my first solo release end to end gameplay, systems, level design, monetization, publishing, all of it. I'd really appreciate feedback on how the difficulty curve feels, whether the slicing feels responsive, and anything that feels off or unfinished. Link's below — thanks in advance to anyone who gives it a go.

Game Title: Kablamo!

Playable Link: https://kablamo.fly.dev/

Description: I missed playing 4 player Bomberman for the SNES so I put this together. It'll work for mobile or PC.

It doesn't auto-full screen so you have to click the full screen button.

I've been really happy with how the multiplayer latency has been ironed out. It feels like local and in playing from California to the fly.io server in Chicago.

You can play strangers, assuming there are some, or have a friend host the game and share the code. Bots can fill in as needed.

I'll eventually hope to polish this up more and get it into the app stores instead of a web app. All the other Bomberman clones seemed bloated with crap or couldn't do multiplayer right.

Full disclaimer: I vibe coded the whole thing in one night. It's crazy how good Claude Code is. Started on Fable then ran out of free credits and Opus took over.

Trailer Tuesday [TRAILER TUESDAY] Spuddenly Human, a browser game about a potato studying twelve preventable human disasters

Game title: Spuddenly Human

Playable Link: https://prosepotato.itch.io/spuddenly-human

Platform: Web browser and Windows

Price: Free to play

You play a potato observing twelve small human disasters: an unplugged toaster, a broken plant, a flooded laundry room, and several emotional misunderstandings. Each case asks you to inspect the scene, speak to the people involved, and decide what the potato learns about being human.

I directed the game, wrote and revised the narrative, and built the final 1.0 release with AI-assisted development tools.

I would especially value feedback on:

• whether the interaction targets are easy to reach

• whether the story choices feel clear

• which ending you reached

The launch trailer is on the itch.io page above.

The game features 4 different worlds with 3 levels each. Play through levels to unlock new modes. Each of the modes changes the goal in a specific way:

  • DREAM - The standard level
  • SEQUENCE - Pass through gates in order to open the goal
  • RETROVERSION - Play though the level in reverse
  • AXIS - Start the level with one magazine of shells and all other shells are removed from the map

At the end of each level, you will earn a medal based on your completion time. Achieving the highest possible medal tier, DREAM, will require maximized momentum, efficient route planning, and optimal usage of available resources. GOOD LUCK.

[PC] (Windows) Made a Brotato-style survivor game solo — has an over-the-top "kill everything" ultimate, would love feedback

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

Hey! Been building this solo — it's a top-down survivor/roguelite (Brotato / Vampire Survivors style): pick a character, waves of enemies scaling up, weapons auto-fire, level up mid-run, spend coins in a shop between waves, unlock new characters/weapons over time with a separate currency.

The part I'm most proud of: fill up a meter from kills and it triggers an ultimate — the screen freezes, a voice line plays, then you go invincible while a huge wave of enemies swarms in for a few seconds of pure chaos. Really satisfying once it kicks in.

Playable Link: https://kaelrick.itch.io/pixel-survivors (free to play in-browser, no download)

Would genuinely appreciate feedback — what's fun, what's confusing, what's missing. Especially the first few waves, since that's what most people will actually see before deciding whether to keep playing.

I fully understand there will be "AI Slop" comments and somehow agree with the sentiment of many people. As a solo developer is impossible to spend most part of the year without income to release something that might not even be fun and flop.
Yes AI has been used, but who says AI slop cannot be fun.
