I’ve been really interested in the videos I’ve been seeing of people selling Pokémon cards. I’d like to start a small card selling business, but I’m not sure which boxes are worth selling. I think it’s a really nice idea since there are a lot of Pokémon fans around the world and I also enjoy this.
What boxes would you recommend starting with? Where can I check which ones are profitable and what prices I should sell them for? And if you have any other recommendations or ideas that might be more viable, I’d really appreciate them!

A user named LewisDeinarcho made some really nice minis of the Flygon line (one of my favorite Dragons). I really liked his Vibrava design too!
Trapinch+Vibrava+Flygon : r/legopokemon
I think the only tweaking was Trapinch, so its head and body are rounder, so I made this 11-piece mini of it to see what it would look like next to Vibrava (I recreated his 36-piece mini). I think it's pretty close! I also added my Brendan minifigure for a height comparison.

i work at a small printing shop that also offers vehicle wrapping, so i was able to have some one-of-a-kind custom switch skins made B)
the gastrodon pattern is from the Pokemon Shirts collection and was designed by Manami Fuda
the switch 2 template i got did include a piece intended to frame the screen of the console, but it wasn't the right size so i couldn't use it :(

My boyfriend and I had been trying to figure out what to do with all our bulk cards. For his birthday this year I made this gengar portrait, thought it turned out great so had to share!

I searched up this issue and didn’t find anything with my particular issue—I got a copy from Gamestop online in the mail today. The game runs just fine on my DSXL. When I put it in my 2DS, its says the “Save file couldnt be accessed” i did the research so I reset the game but it still doesnt work in my 2DS, just the older consoles. Thoughts?

I drew this at the beginning of the year, but I was disconnected from the world because of family problems. A couple of days ago I created an IG profile and I’ve been uploading content that I had saved.

I've been an UK/Irish Pokemon fan since in the 2000s. And I have collected a lot of things over the years, be that figurines, cards, VHS/DVDs and of course, the video games themselves.
In the 2010s, I did stop collecting Pokémon stuff, namely due to going into my teens, to the fact I don't have any merch from Gen VII onwards, let alone barely any Gen VI merchandise.
A lot of the merch I showcase here are from Gens II-Gen IV. I don't really remember how I got all of these, outside of probably the 2nd image, which I think I got from the magazines where you could cut out these things.
The Entei, decoration thing I feel like I might of gotten when I got an Entei mask for a Halloween when I was a kid. I don't believe I have that Entei mask anymore, but this is still around.
And a lot of what I assume are Gen I Pokémon pogs, as Milhouse once said, they are back.
Also, if these break any rules, I do apologize, as I don't know if these break any of the bullet points of Rule 8 as it is VERY old merch by this point.

Two versions of Dragonite that I created.
The version on the right was originally done in a style similar—specifically regarding the line art—to the animation of *Ed, Edd n Eddy*... or whatever it's called. Its counterpart is the same, except it shows the Pokémon baring its fangs in a rage, with smoke puffing from its nostrils and eyes.
Both are my own work (KDI) and 100% human-made art.

Im a lifelong Pokémon fan. I play the games, played TCG for a couple years, really only watched the anime up until Gen 3. I know some characters, old and new.
But… this has to be old news, right? I hope Im not too late to the party
Brock’s last name is Harrison?? When did the show reveal that?

Do new fans feel overwhelmed by how many Pokemon there are? I started around Fire Red and Leaf Green and was obsessed with any extra media like books and the anime so I got caught up with all the Pokemon pretty quickly. Especially since there weren’t as many to keep track of, but now I’m struggling to name them all. Do old fans have a hard time keeping track of which Pokémon is which or which ones are actually new in a new game? Do you need help remembering the type match ups and abilities? I’m just curious.
Edit: Also I’m curious if it’s difficult to play the games with so many mons and if new players can tell if something is a return Pokemon or a new one if they are playing a game for the first time?

Mine honestly has to be Yanmega. Mostly due to how cool and awesome it looks! I also love its origins as well, as its military green is a reference to how it is based on attack helicopters and attack helicopters and dragonflies can remain stationary while moving. I also love how it is based off the Meganeura, an ancient species of gigantic dragonfly, and that adds extra reasoning as to why it evolves from Yanma by learning Ancient Power since Yanmega, as stated before, is based off an ancient species of dragonfly.

Seriously, you cannot look at this five-headed abomination and not see a five-clawed arm of some ancient, more powerful being. It could be just an aesthetic and all, but what if that wasn't the case?
What would you think a full body for whatever creature Eternatus comes from looks like?

Im currently having the time of my life after getting some better set ups and repairing a modded 3ds to go through all the pokemon games. Ive recently managed to mod Pokemon SV with the "Compass" mod which has been a lovely experience, because its an enhanced vanilla difficulty, right at my sweet spot.
Ive been struggling a lot to find rom hacks who aren't build for hard nuzlocking or competitive type of mindsets (or just put a bunch of legendaries in every trainer team late game), and I've been wondering if others have found rom hacks or even just singular QoL mods that help make the games feel like a step up from vanilla. Difficulty can be a lot of fun, but i wanna ease into it basically.
Can be hacks from gba to the modern switch titles, whatever you found to be your favorite experience and tell me why!

wishful thinking for sure but i have this feeling that for the 30th anniversary nintendo will do something unprecedented and spoil pokemon fans like we deserve
i was born in 1996 just like pikachu so the GBA/gen 3 games are the pinnacle of pokemon for me and this would be a dream come true
do you think there’s any chance this could happen? highly unlikely but an interesting thought experiment at least

Notice: I know Ash is a Red counterpart too, but imo he's more Sun than Red.
There are a few things connecting Ash and Red.
As well as some things connecting Ash and Sun.
Let's start with Red.
Pallet town resident.
Oak Starter.
Gary/Blue Rivalry.
And Pokemon. Like Charizard, Pikachu, Snorlax and Lapras, (Bulbasaur and Squirtle for Blastoise and Venusaur).
But that's all there's no story connection, Anime follows its own story.
Now about Sun and Ash.
Both from Kanto who travel to Alola.
Ash caught Solgaleo, Melmetal and Naganadel, 3 Legendary or equivalents for the first time in the story like an actual protagonist.
Incineroar. And Dusk Lycanroc too, which only protagonist Sun gets in the game.
First Region Ash became Champion in, just like Sun.
Alola anime somewhat followed the Game story from what I have heard, could be wrong, I haven't played alola games.
Went to School in Alola.
And the most important factor.
In the Manga the durability of Sun is so strong that even Red couldn't handle the things Sun suffered.
Only one who can top that is Anime Ash.
Tldr; Midnight Ramblings. Ash is more like Sun than Red.
It's fine if you don't agree with me.
I might also have missed many points.
Either way good night.
