Discussion i think zarude is the most forgettable mythical Pokémon
idk how popular this opinion will be, but i genuinely think zarude is probably the most irrelevant/forgettable mythical pokémon they’ve ever made so far. i am aware that there’s a movie about it, but to be honest i haven’t watched any of the pokémon movies for a LONG time, (plus they usually have their own kind of canon going on so idk if it really says much about its role in the games) but i like, never hear people talk about it online, in videos, etc. it just kind of, exists? and there wasn’t ever any cool event or sidequest about it either.
what do you think, do you agree with me? or am i crazy for this?

Art I was challenged by Pokedex Fillers to draw an evolution for Trekid based in Portugal.
Each country had an artist drawing an evolution for their country, and I super happy to draw not just a second evo, but also my first Gigantamax!

Discussion I didn't know this dialogue existed!
It shows when you're at the bottom of cycling road and try to surf in the water.

Discussion What's your hypocritical Pokemon take?
This is nostalgia glasses and I absolutely admit that btw. I mostly hate the Pokemon that look like they're just humans with animal features (so mons like Sceptile and Gardevoir get a pass for me), but somehow I just adore Hariyama. Like that design cannot do anything for me to hate it. Other mons I can think of atm that are humanoid that I don't like are Primarina, Zeraora, Delphox, Sawk, Throh, Quaquavel, Incineroar and many others like them.
Also big factor is how good it is in a Hoenn playthrough whether it's normal or a nuzlocke. It's amazing to use and to look at.

Craft Dragonair in LEGO
There’s just something about Dragonair’s design that I’ve always loved. It’s elegant, mysterious and somehow manages to feel powerful without looking aggressive.
So I made it out of LEGO

Discussion The Only 6 Pokemon to reach 600 BST+ without being considered a Pseudo or Legendary.
As far as I know these are the only six Pokemon to reach a 600+ BST without including stat boosting abilities or any moves. The last two are technicalities but Duraludon with an Eviolite and Porygon2 with an Eviolite have 615 and 607.5 technical BST's Respectively (I know it changes your raw stats but that's not as fun). If you know any others let me know.

Art Gardevoir and Mega Gardevoir Gijinka Designs. Shiny at the end ✨ Thoughts? (Art by me)
Human character designs based off Gardevoir and Mega Gardevoir in a fantays RPG-like world setting. A while ago I made a masculine-leaning Gardevoir character design. I've revamped the old design a bit and also tried to make one for the Mega form as well.
I was especially excited as it was going to be a challenge to translate the large gown into something more gender-neutral. I went with a mage's robe design while doing my best to keep that puffy ballgown silhouette. I was also excited about the "exposed heart" idea, where the "chest plates" form a floating butterfly-wing ornament and his actual chest is glowing.
How did I do? Any thoughts or things you'd like to see different? Let me know what you think!

Discussion Is there a single person who actually uses these
Asking genuinely, having played Pokemon my entire life, I still haven't found a scenario where I ever needed these or found them useful
Is this the same case for everyone else or do people actually use them?

Meme The whiplash of Pokémon understanding between Lockstin and Skyen is really insane
I saw a short from Skyen of very basic “why is it gendered so stereotypically.” Critique and hate just because of that, then I saw a Lockstin and Gnoggin video about Meowstic’s line and the whiplash of understanding of what they were going for is incredible.

Art [OC] 305 Pokemon made using only Powerpoint
I'm on a quest to make every Pokemon using only Powerpoint for no other reason than I can lol. The challenge works off requests as the decider for the order so if there's any Pokemon you'd like to see let me know! I also sneak in One Piece Pokemon from time to time :)

Craft [OC] made a custom gastrodon skin for my switch 2!
i work at a small printing shop that also offers vehicle wrapping, so i was able to have some one-of-a-kind custom switch skins made B)
the gastrodon pattern is from the Pokemon Shirts collection and was designed by Manami Fuda
the switch 2 template i got did include a piece intended to frame the screen of the console, but it wasn't the right size so i couldn't use it :(

Art Eevodia, The Forbidden One! (by me)
If this were turned into an actual card you can probably imagine just how broken it would be >_> the amount of searches in the pokemon tcg that would help you gather all 5 peices of eevee in your hand would make winning too easy :3

Discussion Do new fans feel overwhelmed by how many Pokemon there are?
Do new fans feel overwhelmed by how many Pokemon there are? I started around Fire Red and Leaf Green and was obsessed with any extra media like books and the anime so I got caught up with all the Pokemon pretty quickly. Especially since there weren’t as many to keep track of, but now I’m struggling to name them all. Do old fans have a hard time keeping track of which Pokémon is which or which ones are actually new in a new game? Do you need help remembering the type match ups and abilities? I’m just curious.
Edit: Also I’m curious if it’s difficult to play the games with so many mons and if new players can tell if something is a return Pokemon or a new one if they are playing a game for the first time?
