Like I said, you don't really know what kind of "inaction" someone has when you're just seeing reddit posts. People leave reddit and go out into the world and do other things. You have no way of knowing that. You're being needlessly accusatory with virtually no data.

Our protest rights have been eroded as well. In my lifetime we went from protests that were impactful to "Free Speech Zones." Now, if you want to protest something, you have to do it off to the side, out of the way. Get permits and do a "weekend parade," as it were.

Just as the Ukrainian military now has to show our troops how to use their own tech, we need The French to teach us how to stand up to the regime with our own freedom that we have forgotten how to use.

Protests aren't really doing anything anyway. The wealthy know you'll go home and continue to slave away and consume. They probably even know you'll hop over to Walmart to buy some art supplies for your next witty sign to use at the next "protest" in three months.

Most Americans would be unable to pay their basic living expenses if they went a week without work. Meanwhile, federal safety net programs have been gutted meaning there's less support for those without work. This isn't just about some risk. This is about people fearing for their survival.
