is nvidia kernel version outdated ?

i mean driver version

stuck at 595.84

No. 595 is the latest stable driver.

You can install the ones ubuntu packages, im not sure what its called though, they package the non-production/feature drivers. Just do an "apt search nvidia driver version" and see whats available in the repo. Good luck.

You should stick to drivers that are packaged officially. NVIDIA drivers do not support new kernels without patching them.

I gave the 610 driver a try, and I highly advise against it at this stage - it works fine on desktop, but there are a lot of regressions in games. I reverted to 595, which has been great for me.
