Captured 25 years ago today, on September 1, 2001, these photographs by Konstantin Petrov show the view from the 107th floor of the North Tower, where the Windows on the World restaurant was once located. Just 10 days later, the World Trade Center would be forever changed.

My daughter-in-law wanted orange in the mend of her jeans. I like the way it came out! My only regret is the orange patch won’t ever be seen by anyone, but that’s where the hole was lol!

Nico was attacked by his mama at 3 days old. She bit half his ear off and caused several deep lacerations in his back and shoulder. He couldn’t go back with her, so I bottle fed him for the amazing Underdog Rescue Ranch in Detroit. He was adopted around 10 weeks old, and I can’t believe how huge he is now, at 7 months old. It’s always so cool to see fragile little newborns grow up to be so big and strong.
