My first rewatch and now nearing the end of season 2.

Season 1 - still an all-time favourite season for me. Great stuff. So 2000s. Love it.

Season 2 - liking it much less than I remember overall but my favourite part has been the Scofield / Kellerman Dynamic when he joins Lincoln (later Sara). Being able to watch him and Mahone without the hate is great and I love seeing a character who is mostly just efficient and good at what he does, and without being completely played by Michael like most everyone else.

Also, there is a gap in the show once Westmoreland is gone which nobody fills.

Throughout the series, Michael makes many mistakes, such as not helping the boy who committed suicide, betraying Pope, freeing T-Bag, and using Sara and Nika in his escape. But between seasons 4 and 5, Michael was transferred from prison to prison, and by season 5, we know he's been in Yemen for four years. His conditions were worse than T-Bag's seven years at Fox River. Did Michael get his just deserts for his misdeeds?

Dont you guys think that after S1 PB became all about saving and protecting the "FAMILY" just like fast & furious movies later became. I personally thought that i was watching fast and furious movie instead of PB.

In other words, Sara went to jail because Michael refused to work for Jacob. What if he had told her and they had run away? Things would have been better.

For me, her introduction to the show was very unnatural, like really weird.

Im rewatching the show and this scene literally made me so hungry that i actually cooked a burger. Seriously what is Bellick doing this guy should’ve went to do commercials for food. Im sure that burger cost 1$ but he made it look like a luxury.

THIS IS FOX RIVER. I’m not really sure where to start here, I have a lot to cover. There is a post from about 2 years ago of this same map, I am the same person! I was 16 ish when I made that, I am 19 now. I had to stop for school exams, then I had to stop for ATPL exams after I left school. I don’t want to upset anyone but this map won’t come out soon. I still have important exams that must be completed, and I am moving to Spain to continue my training for my own future. Obviously my future comes first. But I have a bit of down time from now, until maybe February next year which I will dedicate to this map and other personal projects.

Anyways, about the map. The basic shape of it was made 2 years ago. Since then it obviously lay dormant until recently, where I’ve updated my texturing skills, coding skills, and decided to use AXIOM to detail like crazy. That means there are NO MODS required, only 2 texture packs that change iron bars to chain link fences, and netherite walls to jail bars. I must also warn you that this map is HEAVY GOING on your computer. I’ve tried my best to optimise it, but uh.. shaders are not a good idea. (It does run fine without them I promise)

I’ll give you an idea of what every image depicts:
PLEASE NOTE THAT ITS ALL A WORK IN PROGRESS, SO THERE WILL BE RANDOM BLOCKS LYING ABOUT ECT.

1: this is just fox river/old Joliet prison, all of the wire fences and barbed wire are accurate in their placement.

2: A WING - “gen pop”, this is in the East cell house. It is as accurate as I can possibly make it, during filming they mirrored one side to create the effect. They also switched Scofields cell around, but I’ve picked his cell as the one that was used the most. I looked at the blueprints shown in the show, there are 12 cells in each row. So yes that means that Scofields “Cell 40” is ACTUALLY cell 40 and is even in the right place! I’m quite chuffed about that.

3: same thing. Please note I’ve not finished the right side, nor have I added the red line all the way yet. Also YES you can open individual cells. (If you are a C.O) YES you can dig behind your cell, (if you get a screw from the bleachers) YES you can… hang up sheets.

4: CUTE POISON. Need I say more?

5: bleachers and tables made using axiom.

6: all cells can be opened remotely from here. If an inmate somehow gets in here… they will have keys (access to) A wing and B wing. (Also yes this is very accurate to the show I spent some time looking at it)

7: yes the chair works… (and you can draw the curtains too!)

8: Popes office.

9: this is the yard (screenshot is from before I added detailed guard towers and bleachers)

12: roll call for C.O’s. I’m like 90% that’s what this room was used for in the real prison.

13: now why would you have a cable that runs from the infirmary to the outside wall…

14: C.O break room. Used to be a storage room. I sure do hope nobody was counting on getting in here…

As far is I’m aware there aren’t really any functioning “prison” maps on Minecraft, so maybe this will be a first.
There are 3 teams: C.O, Staff, Inmate.

The whole map uses a method where to interact with something, you approach it and are given an item. If you throw this item it acts upon the prompt.

This way guards can operate doors, inmates can interact with phones, search bins ect!

I am working on multiple escape methods, they won’t be easy.

Note the guard tower in the middle is accessed from underground tunnels, these are accurate to Joliet prison from a video source I found. There’s even a toilet up there. The armoury can only be accessed from these tunnels.

Ohh man. The final break. You get out of the walls, get rid of one crazy shit, the drama goes on inside the van, the van breaks down and you decide to run and the cops find you AND AND AND, THE PLANE IN WHICH YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GET ON, LEAVES WITHOUT YOU!? What was this final break? I don't know. The satisfactory moment of the episode for me was T-Bag getting chopped😋

Can't even predict what's gonna happen in the S2, shiii.

.... had the judge in the pilot simply decided to NOT grant him his wish of serving his sentence in Chicago - Fox River?? Surely that's not something you can just appeal and actually make the judge re-consider?

Similar thing about his appeal to deny transfer from Fox River in episode 5. Apparently he has some random medical condition and all he has to do is write a letter to Pope and then HE and only he takes a decision whether to approve it or not, no medical records from Michael's doctor are needed to actually prove he has this condition, no independent commission investigation, it is only Pope's (who's not a doctor) subjective decision?

Okay so just finished watching the S1 ep 20 and ohh mannnn.

So you just show the pope a frickin' dagger, tell him "I'm breaking out" , and that you want your brother to break with you and just expect the pope to let you do it casually?!!
