discussion New bad release groups

I am using several reputable trackers and still having this issue with my automation picking up bootleg movies that are mislabeled or identified as 1080 webDLs.

To try and fix this I have been manually updating the LQ custom format to include more release groups.

The latest (of many) is spiderman by "DKS"

Below are the release groups I've added to the LQ custom format, in case it is helpful to you all. Please feel free to share any others you have come across (or suggest regex improvements to my list) so we can update this list to avoid mislabeled bootlegs.

Perhaps trashguides can be updated for some of these as well, if we are largely in agreement on them.

Under LQ for Release Group I've added:

Ben the Men - regex: (?i)^ben$

I know Ben is already in the LQ and LQ release title custom formats in trashguides, but, due to how much variation there is in how his name is on releases, I have found this regex to do a much better job of keeping his stuff out of the automation. I recommend adding this one to Sonarr too.

TSRG - regex: ^TSRG$

RBB - regex: (?i)^rbb$

FS - regex: ^(FS)$

Robo29 - regex: ^(Robo29)$

Bothd - regex: ^(bothd)$

Yellow - regex: ^Yellow$

LuCY - regex: \b(LuCY)\b

DKS - regex: ^DKS$

Great list. I need to ask, are you using profilarr? If not, check it out, it will help.

I am not using profilaar or notifiarr to help automate this yet. I manually set up all the custom formats from trashguides for highest quality/remux when I first set up my server and then have just been making some manual updates occasionally when I see something I don't like.

Though I did check thru profilaar and their definition list before making this post (to see how quick they update for stuff like this) and the only one from my list above I saw there was rbb - so my list seems to be quite a bit more current than the two apps I know of that try to help automate this.

I also made a couple tweaks to make sonarr prefer single-episodes over season packs, just to speed up how fast a new show request drops episode 1 onto the server. That has been working quite well, many new show requests get ep1 available within like 2 minutes of the request now.

Its a great too and now supports multiple dictionaries of profiles and allows you to create your own dictionary as well for anything you want to build. Try out the default dictionarry (2 rs) for quality stuff, dumpstarr for space saving. Or load all 3 and explore.

Works best with private trackers.

Awesome thanks. I can certainly use it, I've got like 15 private trackers plus Usenet. If I can load up the trash guides hq profile plus my own dictionary of additions like this that would be great.

Trashguides is the 3rd. Do try the default dictionarry...curated list of release groups. You will like 2160p Remux.

Do I add each of these individually in Settings > Profiles > Release Profiles and add the regex in the Must Not Contain field? Or is this done some other place?
