💬 Discussion Radiohead pretty much confirmed for Tokyo 2027…
Update: Australia also confirmed according to the live podcast with the festival promoter - also standalone shows not festivals according to him.
They just announced at the Summersonic Festival in Japan!
Check the comment for the video I took
PS: I think it will be a standalone concert not a festival, given that Summer Sonic runs at both Tokyo and Osaka (like Reading and Leeds) and the promoter hosts tons of standalone shows throughout the year.

📷 Photo Kid A side D locked groove or not?
My copy of Kid A, double 10" 2012 repress, has this at the end of Motion Picture Soundtrack: a bit of silence, then the ghost track, then some more silence and the side ends.
I was told in r/vinyl that the first pressings of Kid A double 10" had a different trick: silence, then a locked groove, then you need to move the needle to the ghost track manually. How does your copy behave?

💬 Discussion If Kid A and Amnesiac were one album, what would the track listing be?
Gonna try keeping this brief, cause we all know Amnesiac is considered Kid B, by many. I'll give you my list, but I'm more interested to see what the rest of you folks could come up with? Do what you please, but I decided to give myself guidelines. You can even take mine, and alter it.
The rules I gave myself were that I had to put every single song from the two as one 21 minute album. I prioritized making this as accurate as possible to what that would really be like, such as being able to split the album into two disks, or four vinyls, while making it cohesive, so it feels like every five songs could tell one story, which could be interconnected between each disk/vinyl. Kinda stupid, but I like me some albums with a story. Honestly, this really stinks, because I feel that Kid A and Amnesiac sound very different, although if since this a hypothetical, you could say it would be mixed differently if this would be. But I just wanted to test myself. Anyhow:
- Everything in It's Right Place
- Kid A
- The National Anthem
- You and Whose Army?
- Dollars and Cents
- Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box
- Morning Bell/Amnesiac
- Hunting Bears
- How to Disapear Completly
- Treefingers
- Pyramid Song
- Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors
- Optimistic
- In Limbo
- I Might Be Wrong
- Knives Out
- Idioteque
- Morning Bell
- Like Spinning Place
- Life in a Glasshosue
- Motion Picture Soundtrack (Hidden Track, "Genchildren")

💬 Discussion How to achieve sustained Johnny Greenwood Note
I’m currently learning and preparing „Just“ by Radiohead to perform live with a few friends. But I don’t understand how Johnny achieves this long sustained note that doesn’t really fade away during the end of the last tremolo part (3:12 in the Song) ???
It sound really cool and I’ve seen live performances where he just keeps hitting the note a few times but when I do it it doesn’t nearly sound as good and smooth?
So if anyone knows how one achieves that sound or with which pedal I would be very grateful!
For a while I thought maybe it’s a EQ Pedal but I don’t think I’m right.

📷 Photo In Rainbows Rough Trade pressing
This pressing is absolutely stunning, the clear disc turned out beautifully and it sounds incredible. I’ve yet to hear the 45rpm boxset edition but i’d be willing to bet the sound quality of this pressing gives it a run for its money. So so good and a must have for any fan

💬 Discussion If you had to choose one Radiohead song to describe your life at this point, what would it be and why?
For me, I've been going through some workplace drama, and a lot of paranoia about the current state of my department. I've listened to "Just" about every day for the past several days, as I think it's really fitting for the general feelings I've had toward work lately.

💬 Discussion Could someone share the URL on the Tokyo postcards?
Hi all,
I have been desperately searching for the URL on the Tokyo postcards, just to sign up for the mailing lists. Even went to multiple record stores in Tokyo here but no luck.
Anyone has the URL? Or a picture of the QR code? Would be very grateful! I realize it is probably not in any way a must to get tickets, but it would provide me with some peace of mind. Been waiting over a decade to get an opportunity to see Radiohead live.

💬 Discussion Would it be possible to find what other city's there playing through the links
I've noticed that for Tokyo and Melbourne the URL has a short 4 or 5 letter/digit string then -(city name). Would it be possible to find other cities before the cards are found through this?
